It took me 3 months to reach 101 downloads. Even though it’s not a lot, I’m so happy about it. I’m just sharing this: if you want to ship your first iOS app, please do it—don’t overthink it.
here is the app if you are curious : LittleProgress
I updated TodayRSS to version 1.2 today ( hah)
These features mostly exist because after work I’m too tired to scroll through 40 feeds and just want to know what happened today without doom-scrolling.
Daily Digest
I made this because sometimes I just want to be caught up once for the day.
Search AI
I have a lot of sources and I’m too lazy to manually hunt for specific stories, so now you can just ask:
>“What’s going on with SpaceX?”
and it searches your feeds for that.
You can make custom prompts if you always ask the same thing. This runs entirely on-device using Apple’s model and only sees your feeds, so it’s not magic. Feedback welcome.
Interactive Widgets
I like widgets and they should scroll. So now they scroll.
Other stuff:
No features of my app are locked behind a paywall. The premium tier is for unlimited usage.
TodayRSS is a RSS reader with privacy focused on device summaries and smart ways to browse your news
Mid-October I shipped Worldly, a travel tracking app I built to visualize everywhere I've been on 3D globes.
The idea was simple: I wanted to see all my travels mapped out without creating accounts or syncing to someone else's servers. Just my data, on my phone, looking good.
3 months later:
What it does:
One thing that helped more than I expected was localizing early. Germany became my second biggest market after the US. The manual process was painful though, so I ended up buying shiplocal.app to do it automatically.
I've got 47 places logged from my own travels. There's something satisfying about spinning the globe and watching it fill up over time.

This app is not a game you play. It is a world you witness.
Every entity is autonomous. No scripts. No loops. No outcomes defined in advance.
Agents are born with unique traits: fear, aggression, curiosity, fertility, lifespan. They act only on perception and internal state. They search for food and water, form factions, build structures, defend territory, raid enemies, reproduce, panic, adapt, and die.
Nothing is staged. Societies emerge from interaction alone.
Buildings are not placed by the user. They are constructed when conditions are met. Alliances exist only as long as behavior supports them. Conflict is not triggered. It happens.
The user has no direct control. Only influence.
A single touch can introduce resources or danger. The system absorbs that input and reacts in ways that cannot be repeated.
Every life exists once. Every history is irreversible.
It is calm. It is unsettling. It is impossible to predict.
This app lets life happen.
I wanted to share something I’m pretty excited about.
Beam Browser launched on the App Store this week, and it just climbed to #2 paid in the Productivity category. This is a fully indie, solo-built app, so seeing that happen this early has been a bit surreal.
Beam is a productivity-focused browser built specifically for iPad. The goal was to bring a proper desktop-style workflow to iPad, inspired by browsers like Arc and Zen, but designed natively for iPad instead of being a visual imitation.
Key ideas:
Everything from the UI and tab system to performance work and launch was done solo.
Beam is a one-time paid app ($4.99). No subscriptions, no ads, no tracking or data selling. Charging once is what lets me keep it independent and iterate quickly.
Beam 1.1 is coming very soon with improved bookmark importing, early bug fixes, and general polish to make switching browsers easier.
If anyone has questions about building a browser on iPad, performance, or indie app launches, I’m very happy to answer.

Thanks for reading and for all the early support.
The other day I introduced you to the most absurd app ever made… and now 59 people are already successfully annoying their noisy neighbors.
Join them, don’t get left behind.

I built this because I was tired of playing the "Folder Guessing Game." Whether it’s a passport scan, a snippet of code, or a random web link, I always struggled to decide which folder it belonged to. Eventually, my notes became a "folder maze" where I could never find anything.
PinTag solves this by replacing rigid hierarchies with a flexible Tag-driven system.
Key Highlights:
I use PinTag daily to manage my own digital chaos, but I’d love to get some honest feedback from this community. What features are missing? How can I make the tagging logic even smoother?
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pintag/id6751601989
Price: Free to download (with a Pro IAP for power users)
I'll be around to answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out!
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a personal budgeting app I’ve been working on for a while.
There are already a lot of budgeting apps out there, and many of them are genuinely useful and well made. I’ve tried quite a few over the years. The reason I decided to build my own is pretty simple: none of them really matched the way I’ve been planning my budget every month, which I used to do manually with pen and paper.
The core idea of the app is planning your month in advance, not just tracking what you already spent. You start from your monthly income, split it into Needs, Wants and Savings, create spending predictions, and then mark things as completed as the month goes on. It’s meant to give you a clear picture of where you stand before and during the month, not only after.
It’s still evolving, but it’s something I actively use myself and keep refining.
If you have any thoughts, suggestions, or notice things that could be improved, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing them, especially from people who care about budgeting or iOS apps.
Thanks for reading.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sentinel-budget-planner/id6757471408
Thank you for the amazing feedback I’ve received over the past days. I didn’t expect this idea to resonate so strongly, and I’m genuinely grateful for the thoughtful comments and messages.
I’ve been working on a different way to approach habits and productivity, one that doesn’t rely on streaks, checklists, or constant pressure to perform.
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/uncharted-year/id6757625271
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cixsolutions.unchartedyear
Instead of asking “Did I do enough?”, I wanted to ask: Where did my attention actually go over time?
That idea turned into Uncharted Year, an app that represents your life as a living map. Different areas of life appear as islands, learning, health, relationships, creativity, focus, and more. When you return to something, the island becomes clearer and more detailed. When attention fades, it gently recedes. Nothing breaks. Nothing fails. The map simply reflects reality.
You don’t set goals or targets. You don’t track performance. You log small moments when they feel meaningful, a conversation, a focused hour, a pause, learning something new. Over weeks and months, patterns emerge naturally without judgment.
The intention is not to optimize productivity, but to make it visible. Not to push improvement, but to allow reflection. Progress isn’t measured by consistency or volume, but by presence.
This approach has been quietly resonating with people who feel burned out by traditional habit trackers and productivity systems. The app is now live on Android and iOS! It’s been encouraging to see people connect with the idea of treating their year as something to observe rather than manage.
I wanted to share this here because it aligns closely with many conversations in this community around sustainable productivity, awareness, and long-term balance.
Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback so far 🌱
In the start of December, I released my sudoku app after 4-5 months of development. Since then, a total of (as we speak) 8655 people have downloaded my app.
The app is free, there are no ads and no paywalls what so ever.
Link: https://apps.apple.com/no/app/sudoku-daily-brain-workout/id6748236600
Currently there are about 300 daily users (not sure if that is good or bad from 8k+ downloads), and I would love to see more people.
There is a daily challenge that reset every day. Every day, a new board is generated, and you will complete for the place on the leaderboard. I would love to see more users and get more feedback on what you think.
We also have other game modes; Classic, Hardcore and Zen, an they also include explainable solving technique hints, such as hidden single, naked single etc..
The app has been updated a few times, and I am still adding features suggested by the users.
I hope you would like to give it a try, and let me know what you think!😄

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called Zoney: World Clock & Calculator.
I built this because I was struggling with two things:
Keeping track of what time it was for my friends living all over the world.
Missing out on vinyl drops because I messed up the time zone conversion (getting up at 3 AM for a drop that actually happened at 3 PM is painful).
I tried other apps, but they just didn’t click with me so I decided to build one myself
Some key features:
• Visual Converter: Easily convert time across multiple cities instantly
• Global Alarms: You can set alarms and notifications in any time zone (perfect for those drops or meetings)
• Time Zone Quiz: A fun little feature I added to help users master time zone conversion
I’m a solo dev and would really appreciate any feedback or reviews. If you find bugs or have feature requests, please let me know!
The app contains IAP but they are not required to use the app.
I want to give back to the community for helping me test this. Comment below if you want a lifetime premium code and I'll DM it to you!

Hey guys, has anyone tried using chatgpt as a journal or mentor?
The problem I found is that chat threads tended to become very long and it was hard to structure my thoughts well. As well as the usual "chatgpt forgot my prompt" issue.
I recently made a digital journal and would love to know what you guys think. You can write in it and it generates insights for you and suggests goals to help you across all aspects of your life. You can basically understand yourself much deeper and find patterns about yourself you never knew existed!
If you are someone who's interested in mental health apps I would love to hear what you guys think.
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6751848867
p.s. I you complete a test journal during onboarding it unlocks a 50% discount so the app becomes only ~$29/yr with a 1 week free trial!

Hi dear redditors! 🤝 I'm an industrial engineering student and I'm building Yummigo to fix the supply chain of our kitchens. I’m giving away Free Lifetime Access to everyone who joins the public beta and helps me roast the logic fr. I was sick of the "One-Ingredient Scam" (buying a whole pack of cilantro for 1 recipe and wasting the rest) and the "Sunday Lie" (buying $50 of produce that turns into a science experiment by Friday) 💀. What it does: • TikTok-style feed: Scroll through meals, "like" what looks valid, and the app builds your optimized list instantly. • Supply Chain Optimization: It picks recipes that share groceries so you use 100% of what you buy. • Kills Brain Fog: No more $30 UberEats "L" because you were too tired to plan after class. App link (TestFlight): https://testflight.apple.com/join/2ZKDWsg4 How to enter: • Install the app via TestFlight. • Upvote & Comment on this post (feedback, questions, or just "in"). • That's it — every early tester who provides feedback will get the full version for free forever when we officially launch 🤝. Full feature list: • Ingredient Harmonization: Automatically finds meals that share your groceries. • Native Speed: Built in Swift so it's fast in the store aisle. • Budget Tracking: Respects your specific weekly budget limits. • Zero-Waste Shopping: Buy exactly what you need and nothing else. Let me know if the logic is valid or mid fr 🤝.
Hey, I'm a designer and just published my first iOS App, Shuffle Wall!
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shuffle-wall-design-creator/id6757337404
It's a simple design tool to make your own graphic wallpapers, but it's centered around shuffling to randomize a few elements.
It's free with no subscriptions or ads, and one in-app purchase to unlock more customization options (for $2.99).
The fun thing has been designing how the randomization can be fun and not just produce ugly random things.
Give it a try! I hope you find it fun and I'd love to see something you make that you like.
Hi everyone,
I originally built this app just for myself. I kept forgetting things, but most task apps felt way too complicated to me — bloated with unnecessary features or locked behind subscriptions.
So I tried to build something different: simple, clean, and focused only on what actually matters.
Over time, the project evolved a lot, and it’s now at version 2.3, with many new features and improvements compared to the early versions.
After a lot of iteration, I decided to publish it. Any honest feedback is very welcome.

Hey there, I always felt distracted and overwhelmed by long lists with my ADHD, so I built Pau. I wanted to turn the "chore" of a to-do list into a simple, tactile, RPG-like game. I'm just getting started, lots to do.
How Pau works:
The Swipe: Swipe right to finish a task and earn XP & Points, or swipe left to skip it, and lose points.
One-Task Focus: It shows you one task card at a time. This helps me stay focused without feeling distracted with other unrelated tasks.
Gamified-Elements: Earn points with every swipe, lose them on skips and missed deadlines. Spend points in the Hub on Cosmetics like swipe glows, backgrounds, swipe icons, and Boosts for double XP/Points, Skip Shields, and more.
Streaks & Level up Rewards: Every level earn bonus rewards. The longer your streak the more rewards you get.
Get Pau:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/swipe-task-to-do-lists-pau/id6754972681
Pricing:
Free, no feature behind a paywall, everything can be unlocked just by finishing your tasks.
There is an optional Pau+ subscription ($7.99/yr) + 3 Day Trial.
Enjoy unlocking everything instantly while supporting development. Thank you!

Hi, you may remember I posted about a mobile app I was working on to read/watch/listen to content hosted on archive.org. Well I am happy to announce it is out now on iOS and Android.
Archivist Browser is a dedicated media player designed to be a streamlined, valuable tool for researchers and digital historians. It transforms the Archive’s vast collection into an accessible, modern, handheld experience.
The Important Details The app is 100% free and ad-free. It requires no login and stores absolutely no personal user data. It was built to be a utility, not a data tracker.
Key Features • Video: Universal casting to big screens (supports AirPlay/Casting). • Audio: Full background playback support with lock screen controls (ideal for audiobooks and Old Time Radio). • Research: Fast document retrieval and caching for rapid reading. • Privacy: Zero data collection.
I would love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think.

I want to use the exact version that I had offloaded, will it reinstall the exact version or new one? Thanks.
Journaling is hard. For a long period of time, I wanted to capture some interesting moments of my life but couldn't find a sustainable way for me to quickly note down the moment while still making the journal written meaningful enough.
More often, I gave up due to the friction of writing paragraphs to record the moments in details with emotions, or found it hard to make journaling available wherever I go without having to carry a notebook and a pen.
That's why I created "Joodle", a doodle journaling app that sits in your iPhone, available wherever you go as long as you have your phone, and super easy to capture meaningful moment by sketching up something that completely owned by you. No art skills, no pressure, no accounts-just draw what mattered today and move on. Watching a year slowly fill up with imperfect little sketches turned out to be incredibly meaningful for me.
If you are same as me, give Joodle a try and let me know how you think about it!

So I've been seeing all over X and reddit, the sentiment that "all vibe coded apps are slop"
And honestly? A lot of the time, fair enough. But, I also think models have gotten so good recently, its kind of not true anymore.
I vibe coded a workout tracker in a couple of days, I just wanted something that worked for me and my friends. The result? we love it, and its the only app I've used thats actually really easy to use (bascially apple notes)
So, If it sucks, feel free to roast me in the comments, but I would love to hear your opinions on it. for those who want to try: App

Hey r/iosapps — indie dev here. I’m building Slidy Creator (subscription app on iOS + Android).
Numbers for the last 28 days: 1,168 new users, 18 active trials, but only 3 active subscriptions (MRR ~$51, revenue ~$30).
I don’t think the category lacks demand (similar competitor apps monetize fine), so I’m trying to figure out where my funnel is leaking — likely value perception / “aha moment” timing, paywall/offer, pricing, or traffic quality.
For those who’ve improved trial → paid, what would you audit first?
If it helps, I can describe my onboarding + paywall flow and share trial terms/pricing. Any practical heuristics or experiment ideas are welcome.
I have enrolled to the apple developer program and my account just got approved and i got the sign in email. When I am trying to sign in into my account i first get prompted to the terms of service page. When trying to accept the terms of service the “Accept” button just gets an animation and the page is still stuck there. If anyone has had this issue please let me know how you got around it?
It's a social networking app for truck drivers, they join real-time voice channels, post voice posts asking questions, share road updates etc. I believe it's an useful app but what I notice is truck driver communities are conservative to accept just someone who has even built something useful for them, not to mention self-promotion is prohibited in every community of them.
I'm willing to spend $1k for ads, marketing but not sure where would be the best platform to advertise? And I also need a very good promotion app which I don't have the skill. Looking for someone who can help with that, too. A video that explains the app very well, make it appealing and go to viral hopefully.
Any kind of feedback on the app itself, suggestion regarding marketing are welcome.
Thank you all!

Hey everyone, I’m working on an iOS app that, when you connect your iPhone to an external display, gives you a clean desktop-like workspace inside a single app: floating windows, window focus/resize, and keyboard/mouse support. It’s not a launcher and it doesn’t replace iOS, just a focused workspace for people who plug into monitors.
I’m starting a small TestFlight group and I’m specifically looking for:
• different monitors/resolutions (including ultrawide if possible)
USB-C/HDMI adapters, docks, and AirPlay setups
• keyboard/mouse/trackpad combos
• anyone willing to share quick, honest notes (bugs, UX friction, “this feels weird”)
This isn’t a promo post and I’m not asking anyone to buy anything, I genuinely want early feedback from real world setups so I can improve stability and UX before a wider release.
If you want in, comment or DM with your setup (iPhone model + how you connect to the display) and I’ll send the TestFlight link. Thanks!
I recently bought a Bowflex IC SE and went down the rabbit hole of looking for an app to track my rides. I wanted something simple that would take the data from the bike (Cadence, Power, Distance) and combine it with my Apple Watch heart rate, then save it all neatly to Apple Fitness/Health.
I found that almost every option out there required a subscription or was overly complex. I just wanted to ride and track my stats for free. So I took things into my own hands and built a solution.
It’s called CaPowHr, and I’m releasing it for free for anyone else who wants a straightforward, subscription-free tracker.
What it does:
Compatibility: I built this using standard Bluetooth cycling protocols. I’ve verified it works on the Bowflex IC SE, C6, and Schwinn IC4, but in theory, it should work with any bike that broadcasts standard Bluetooth FTMS data.
Log Capture: If you try it on a different bike and it doesn't work, I added a "Log Capture" flow in the settings. If you send me a log, I can look at your bike's specific protocol and likely get it working for you.

I built this just because I needed it, but I hope it helps some of you avoid unnecessary subscriptions! Let me know if you have any feedback or run into any bugs.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a new app called Swypic for the past few months. The idea came from my own frustration: I had thousands of screenshots, duplicates, and blurry photos clogging up my storage, but deleting them one by one was so boring.
So I built Swypic to make it actually fun—it works like Tinder for your photos. Swipe right to keep, swipe left to delete. It also has a review bin so you don't accidentally delete something important.
I’m currently looking for genuine feedback to improve the app. I want to know if the swiping feels good, if the UI makes sense, and what features you think are missing.

Thanks for your support! 🚀
Hello,
I recently launched an iOS app called Ultimate PDF Image Tool because I was tired of using 5–6 different apps just to do basic document and image tasks.
It lets you:
• Merge, split, rotate, compress, and protect PDFs
• Convert images (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP)
• Compress photos without killing quality
• Add watermarks & signatures
• Keep everything offline and private
There’s a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime—no lock-in.
The goal was: fast, simple, no clutter
If you deal with PDFs or images regularly, I’d love to hear your feedback.

Hey everyone 👋
I just launched a new iOS app called Passport Buddy and wanted to share it here in case it’s useful for fellow travelers and language learners.
Passport Buddy is an AR-powered translator that helps you understand the world around you in real time — no typing, no guessing.
📱 App Store
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/passport-buddy-ar-translator/id6757138581
Option 1 – From me
Option 2 – Instant (no waiting)
Point your iPhone camera at signs, menus, documents, or labels and see translations instantly overlaid on the original text.
Basically subtitles for the real world.
Have real conversations across languages. Speak in your language and Passport Buddy translates and speaks back in theirs.
Great for:
Take a photo of any text and translate it instantly using OCR. Perfect for:
Type or paste text for instant translation with natural text-to-speech pronunciation.
Save translations you want to remember and study them later using flashcards with spaced repetition.
Arabic, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese
This is an early release and I’m actively improving it, so I’d really appreciate any feedback, ideas, or questions.
Happy to answer anything in the comments 🙏

Happy to answer any questions—thanks for taking a look!
I finally launched my first app.
Its a small app to help unload thoughts instead of organising them
What the app does:
The idea is simple: sometimes you don’t need a system, you just need to get thoughts out of your head.
It’s only been two days since launch, so I’m still learning a lot.
If you try it, I’d love to hear:
Thanks for reading, and happy to answer questions.
