Thank you so much for the love you guys are showing my app :D
It’s an iOS/iPadOS app that runs LLMs, vision, image generation, and voice entirely on‑device – no cloud, no subscriptions, and no data leaving your device.
What’s inside:
Privacy first:
✅ 100% on‑device
✅ No tracking / analytics
✅ No subscriptions
✅ One‑time $2

If anyone’s into on‑device AI or just wants a private assistant that doesn’t call the cloud, I’d love feedback. 🙏
Happy to answer questions in the comments.
I’m an indie developer and lifter, and I just released GymLogger X — a workout logger built around how coaches actually structure training, not just reps and timers.
Most apps I tried felt either:
So I built something calmer and more structured.
What GymLogger X focuses on:
The goal is to feel like:
“This is what my coach would’ve written down for me — now I just log it.”
It’s early, but already very usable, and I’m iterating fast based on feedback.
If you follow programs, work with a coach, or just want less noise in your training apps, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I do work with the couple of coaches, so there are also their programs included (next update will include couple of more and also a Heath and iWatch support, thats coming early next week)

If you’re looking to upgrade your note-taking game, the AI space has evolved a lot lately. I’ve been looking into the top iPhone options and broke them down by how they actually perform in the wild.
My Take: If you want something that just works for daily iPhone use and meetings, HyNote is the easiest entry. App & Web version are available.
Hey everyone,
I’m Sergei, an indie app developer. I've created an app that lets you quickly scan rooms with your iPhone or iPad and turn them into 3D models and floor plans — all in seconds.
It uses Apple’s LiDAR & RoomPlan technology to measure walls, doors, windows, and furniture automatically (⚠️ LiDAR sensor required — works on iPhone Pro / iPad Pro models). You can:
👉 Normally it’s $4.99/week or $19.99/year, but I’m making it 100% free for Lifetime for 3 days::
📅 Jan 16, 6 PM PST – Jan 18, 6 PM PST
⚠️ Note: The offer only works for fresh installations during the promo period. If you already have the app installed, please reinstall it to claim the lifetime access.
App Store link: Room Planner: LiDAR Scanner 3D
Would love you to try it out and share any feedback on accuracy, UX, or export features.
Over the last few months I’ve been building an app inspired by my dog, Coco.
The idea came to me when I was working from home and after sitting at my desk for hours without moving my dog Coco started nudging me to go for a walk.
So I got up, took her round the block, and came back to my desk with a clear head ready to tackle the rest of the day.
It made me think about how sedentary I am, and that Coco is a huge motivator to walk.
So I built an app where my dog Coco nudges me to get walking.
Steps and distances are tracked and mapped, and also count towards unlockable items for Coco.
There are subscriptions if you want to unlock more, but the fundamentals of the app are free to use.
Let me know what you think!

Is noir still the best dark mode for Safari? I find myself on certain hotel sites having to disable it more and more frequently. Do you all use it or one that is more friendly with sites?
Alternatively do you have dark mode browsing or just leave it as default?

Thank you for your support! Especially those who started since first version.
I’m genuinely curious, not trying to hate.
I’ve uploaded 7 apps on the App Store so far, all using StoreKit (StoreKit 2) for subscriptions and IAPs. Honestly, I never found StoreKit complicated or hard. It feels pretty straightforward and Apple-native once you understand the flow.
Today I finally decided to try RevenueCat, because literally every Reddit thread, every paywall discussion, every SaaS iOS app mentions it. People keep saying “RevenueCat makes everything simple.”
But my experience so far has been the opposite.
In just the setup phase:
• App Store → RevenueCat linking
• API keys
• In-app purchase keys
• Downloading certificates
• Vendor ID
• Shared secret
• Entitlements
• Offerings
• Products mapping
I’ve been playing around with it for 1–2 hours, and I still feel like I’m configuring things more than building.
What surprised me even more:
• There’s no single clear YouTube tutorial that walks end-to-end in a clean way
• Docs are detailed, but very easy to get lost in
• For something that claims to “simplify subscriptions,” the initial setup feels heavy
With StoreKit:
• Define products
• Fetch products
• Purchase
• Validate
• Done
So my real question is:
👉 Why do people prefer RevenueCat so much?
Is it:
• Cross-platform support?
• Analytics?
• Easier server-side validation?
• Scaling to multiple apps?
• Handling edge cases like refunds, grace periods, etc.?
Because for a solo dev or small app, StoreKit feels way simpler to me.
If you’ve used both:
• At what point did RevenueCat actually start making your life easier?
• Is it overkill for small apps?
• Or am I missing something obvious here?
Would love to hear real-world experiences, not marketing answers.
Note: i have use ChatGPT to rewrite the post
Thanks 🙏
Hey r/iosapps ,
The attached video shows one of the most distinctive features of Gravity Notes:
a real bilingual conversation, transcribed live and saved directly into a note.
I’m the solo developer, and I built Gravity Notes around a simple idea:
we don’t remember things by folders — we remember them by time, place, and moments.
That’s why the same notes can be viewed in three ways:
No duplication. No re-organization.
Gravity Notes supports live recording, podcast or TikTok link transcription, and recorded audio transcription — all fully integrated into notes.
The video highlights bilingual conversation mode.
Each speaker uses their own language, with:
Everything is saved as a note with synchronized playback.
You can tap any sentence to jump there, adjust playback speed, or skip silence
Recent updates add two features that build on long-term use:
They work on top of your existing notes, with no new workflow.
Gravity Notes is designed to be a calm, capable place where text, voice, time, and place all belong together.
I’m sharing deeper demos and walkthroughs in r/GravityNotes, and I’m happy to answer questions here as well. Demos already posted:
Thanks for checking it out — and for supporting thoughtful indie apps.

Slate AI: Answer a few questions about what you're into → Get 10 movies you'll actually want to watch

Hey everyone! I'm a solo dev and just launched Ciao on the App Store.
The problem I wanted to solve: Every social app eventually becomes noise - random people, ads, algorithmic content from strangers. I wanted something that felt like the early days of social media, where you actually knew everyone in your feed.
How Ciao works:
It's basically "social media for your actual inner circle."
Would love any feedback! Free to download: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6757609930
This is a very niche sort of app idea LOL and probably dumb but I'm in a group chat of people that have both Spotify and Apple Music. Whenever I want to share songs,
I'll have to go on each platform copy the song individually and send it over. Mainly be sometimes, the preview of each platform doesn't work all the time, and so I can't just send one of the platforms.
So basically I vibe coded this app so that I can search up songs that should be on both platforms, and create a personalized message with links to both music platforms that you can copy and paste to your friends
Might be very dumb and too simple but still would love to get opinion on how it looks, functions, etc.
Thank you!
hey everyone, wanted to share an app ive been working on called Color Identifier: Color Wheel
the idea is simple - point your camera at anything and capture the exact color. works on real world objects, photos, artwork, whatever. once you have a color you can build palettes using harmony types like complementary, analogous, triadic, etc
main features:
- live camera color capture
- pull colors from photos in your library
- palette generator with different harmony modes
- export to PNG, SVG, ASE, and Procreate swatches
- AI palette generation
i built it because i was tired of trying to eyeball colors from reference photos and getting muddy results. wanted something that could grab the actual hue and help me build a cohesive palette from it
pricing:
- free tier: 5 saved colors, 1 palette
- pro monthly: $2.99
- pro lifetime: $19.99
happy to answer any questions or take feedback. still actively working on it so always looking for ways to improve
I usually learn English vocabulary by watching movies with English subtitles. Whenever I run into a new word, I check it with Google Translate, but then… there’s nowhere to actually save it, review it later, or get reminded to memorize it.
So I rolled up my sleeves, opened Xcode, and built a small app just for this purpose.
Sure, there are probably already similar apps on the App Store, but I wanted something with a workflow and UI that I actually enjoy using.
After finishing it, I published it on the App Store and kinda forgot about it for a while. Then one day I noticed it had 4 subscribers already — which honestly made me pretty happy 😄
So yeah, just wanted to share it here, do a little self-promo, and hopefully get some feedback from you all.

Hi r/iosapps,
I am a developer based in Switzerland. A few years ago, when I was doing freelance IT work, I found the existing invoicing solutions were either massive, expensive ERP systems (like Bexio) or clunky Word templates that always messed up the formatting.
I wanted something native, fast and private. So I built Swiss QR Bill & Invoice.
What it does: It generates ISO 20022 compliant Swiss QR-Bills directly on your iPhone or iPad. It calculates the checksums, validates the IBANs, and generates a PDF that you can AirPrint or Share immediately.
Why this matters now: As some of you might know, new regulations are coming into effect in November 2025 requiring "Structured Addresses" for all Swiss QR codes. Many older templates and tools still use unstructured formats that will soon be rejected by banks. My app enforces the correct structured format automatically, so your invoices are already future-proof.
Key Features:
Why I’m posting: I just updated the app to v1.6.9 with improved iPad support and bug fixes for QR generation. I would love to get some feedback on the UX from this community.

Let me know what you think!
A few months ago, my friends and I started competing on daily steps.
It got competitive fast… and we all lost around 5kg in a month.
But after a while, competing only with the same people felt repetitive.
So I built something I actually wanted to use: a step game where the competition never ends.
Rivlo turns walking into a global grind:
• Rank up on worldwide leaderboards
• Join a club and fight for the top
• Challenges, Adventures, Club Battles, etc.
I’m still improving it and would genuinely love feedback from people who walk daily. Interested?

I don’t have onboarding screens, no registration. It’s meant to be installed and running in two clicks.
Inspired by this article: https://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/life-weeks.html
Basically, you set your birth date and can see the calendar of your life. In the calendar, the numbers on the left represent years from 0 to 89. On the top, there are 52 weeks. Each square represents 1 week of your life.
You don’t have to open the app — you can check your progress anytime through the notification, which shows your age, current week, and day. It updates automatically at 00:00 each day.
The main idea of the app is to give you a sense of urgency, make you realize in your heart that time really goes fast, and embrace the idea that you will be dead one day — 100%. So, if you keep track of it, you don’t need to force yourself with motivation or discipline — the energy should come naturally.
A favourite quote of mine:
>A man who lacks purpose distracts himself with pleasure
It basically means that if you don’t know what you’re doing in life — if you’re not aspiring to something — you will always spiral into alcohol, drugs, mindless computer games, partying — losing yourself entirely in pleasure.
So, perhaps if a man without purpose sees that his time is slipping away each day, his mind will formulate a purpose for him, or in desperation of losing his time, he will take the necessary actions that may generate ideas leading to his purpose. In the end, he can live up to his full potential.
before I dive into my story let me clarify this, the app is completely offline I do not even collect tiniest of your data let alone any photos :D
With the recent increase in "brain rot" content on social media, I’ve really started to irritated by these apps(especially youtube shorts, oh boi). But unfortunately, even if some of us don't want to admit it, the "doomscrolling " has become an addiction. I was thinking about how to turn this habit into a less harmful activity, and that’s when this idea came to me.
Yes, this isn't an app that will teach you a new skill or make you super productive, but let's be honest—humans need to zone out and kill time occasionally.
But trust me the idea is really cool(probably not unique, but this one is free and adless)
Nowadays, whenever we see, hear, or taste something exciting, we immediately grab our phones to record it. Even at concerts, people are filming rather than watching. But after a while, this media gets buried deep in the phone's storage. Most of us don't delete them, either. They just sit there. And scrolling through the gallery linearly isn't exactly an exciting activity.
I developed Flickpics to gamify this and make viewing your photos exciting again.
You can create a random deck, make custom decks (oldest, newest), or even use it to filter/cull your photos after a trip.
At first, I was worried it might be pointless, but after using it personally, I realized it’s actually a really sweet and entertaining app. Stumbling upon photos that were lost in the clutter is honestly a great feeling.

Hello everyone, last year I bought an iPad Mini and started gaming on it. I bought a telescopic controller and the experience was lacking that handheld console feeling. I searched for apps that give that handheld console feeling but couldn't find something with universal support. I decided to develop my own gaming launcher. It's called LudiHub.
What is LudiHub? It's a centralized gaming hub/launcher where you can add your installed games, emulators, roms and whatever shortcut you want. It has full universal controller and touch support and is customizable. You can add games using two ways, the simple way is long-pressing an installed game in your Home Screen and share it to LudiHub. LudiHub takes care of creating the icon with image and title and prompts you to add a shortcut name. You enter the name of the "Open App" shortcut you created in the shortcuts app. You can use various shortcuts, for example Delta Emulator supports deep links, those can be opened as URLs and RetroArch has an "Open Game" shortcut. All of those are compatible with LudiHub. The second way is the manual way in the app. The manual way is for games no longer available in the AppStore, ROMs etc. You can also customize the bottom menu buttons to map them to your favourite apps. The launcher utilizes the iOS shortcut functionality.
When you connect your controller, the app recognizes it and shows you an indicator on top with battery status and the navigation information depending on the controller. On the right side you see the date, time and iPad's battery status. The Launcher comes with two pre-configured but removable web shortcuts for Game Pass and GeForce Now.
I also built in 6 different color themes which adapt to dark and light mode. You can also choose your custom wallpaper which gives you an option to activate a crystal clear glass design that refracts the background colors or keep the toggle off for a frosted glass optic.
The App Costs 4.99€ and is a one time purchase. No subscription, No ads or data collection. In the next version I will make the app universal, which means for the same price you will get iPhone support and also add support for Generic MFi controllers like the backbone. At the moment it supports extended controllers that use the Xbox or the PlayStation configurations.
You can download the app here: https://apps.apple.com/app/ludihub/id6757743623
More information here: https://ludihub.app
If you want a detailed how to guide. You can visit the webpage where I included a setup guide with video.
If you have experience any issues or bugs, please report them using the contact support E-Mail Address from the website.
Looking forward for your feedback.

Hey everyone!
I'm a developer who noticed how expensive and time-consuming it is for fashion designers and clothing brands to create mockups.
So I built Fashion Design Studio – a 3D mockup app that lets you design and visualize apparel in real-time, right from your iPhone.
What it does:
Who it's for:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fashion-design-studio-3dmockup/id6757297556
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or the tech behind it. And if you're a designer or brand owner, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing what features would make this more useful for you!
I was enjoying playing crosswords over the holidays with my family, so I built an algorithm that can generate a new crossword every day from a bank of words and clues. It also has a seasonality component where special words are used only during certain times of the year.
It’s free to download, so you can try it out for the first several days to see if you like it. I’m a solo dev, so I’d love constructive feedback. Thanks! 😊
A digital customizable journal that you must try in 2026. Unlike other journals, this has a flow of entering journal entries
Also, this has an Apple Watch app that gives you flexibility in capturing your moments without writing down a single word.

Hey everyone 👋
Just wanted to share a quick win.
Had a critical production issue and requested an expedited App Store review.
Timeline:
Total: ~50 minutes from submission to approval.
Didn’t expect it to be this fast - it genuinely saved the release.
Posting this in case it helps someone in the future 🙌

Hi everyone!
I play a lot of board games and I got sick of downloading apps that ask for a monthly subscription just to add a third player or save more than two games.
So I decided to build Scoring to fix that. The goal is to have something fast and clean that generates a graph of the game in real time and a sharecard with a leaderboard at the end, to immortalize your victories.
I hate greedy monetization so the app is free with very minimal ads. You can remove them for a one time 1.99 purchase if you want to support my solo work. No subscriptions.
I really want to build this app for and with the community so I am looking for all the feedback I can get. You can also visit my own little iOS Studio and see if another app can fit your everyday life.
Thanks for reading !

I recently released a small iOS app called Agane to solve a problem I personally struggle with: figuring out what to work on when I don’t have much energy.
Instead of showing a huge to-do list, Agane works like this:
• You assign an “energy cost” to tasks
• You pick your current energy level
• The app shows only tasks you can realistically do right now
It’s intentionally simple. No AI, no gamification, no clutter.
The app is:
• iOS only
• Completely free
• No ads, no IAP, no subscriptions
I built this mainly for people who struggle with task initiation, motivation, or energy fluctuations (especially ADHD-style productivity issues).

Would love to hear any feedback or suggestions.
Hey everyone!
I just crossed 100 users on Gry, a social food diary app I’ve been building, and wanted to share it here for feedback.
Gry is a lightweight, daily food-first social app. You post what you eat once per day, no captions required, no pressure to “perform.” The focus is on consistency, memory, and seeing what your friends are actually eating, not influencers or ads.
What it does:
I built this because I wanted something between a calorie tracker and Instagram: a place to casually log meals and discover food through people you actually know.
Platform: iOS Price: Free App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gry/id6755941053
Would love any feedback: especially around onboarding, retention, or features you’d expect in a food diary/social hybrid. Happy to answer any questions about the build as well.
Thanks!
Hi guys, new version is here. With a lot of UI tweaks and so. Hope you will like it.
This app is a minimalist breathwork app without any sub, but with a cool UI interface (in my opinion).
It has a one-time $2.99 "coffee tip" instead of a subscription, unblocking the few more breathing techniques and custom techniques creation.
Key Features:
Check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flow-breath-breathing-timer/id6756208822
Hey r/iosapps folks! 👋
A few months ago I shared Pickshot here – the app I built for my wife to extract high-quality photos from videos. Thanks so much for all the feedback and support!
I've been working on some updates based on what you all suggested, and wanted to share what's new:
🎯 The big one: Import videos from Files
This was the most requested feature. You can now select videos from your Files app, iCloud Drive, or any other source – not just your Camera Roll. Makes it way more flexible.
Other improvements:
The core features are still the same:
Quick note on pricing: The app is now subscription-based (it's no longer free). I know subscriptions aren't everyone's favorite, but it helps me keep developing and improving the app.
Would love to hear what you think about the updates, or if there's anything else you'd like to see!
Real talk time 👋
The Plan: Day 3 = Apple Intelligence integration
The Reality: Spent the entire day on unglamorous but critical stuff
What actually happened:
✅ Fixed SwiftData crashes on app restart
✅ Polished transcript detail screen (80% → 95%)
✅ Improved error handling across the app
✅ Fixed memory leaks in image cache
✅ Better loading states and animations
✅ Crash-free app (finally!) (i hope)
The good news:
Tomorrow (actual Day 3):
Apple Intelligence integration - for real this time. With a stable base, it should be straightforward.
Lesson learned:
Build in public = being honest when things don't go to plan. Some days are about fixing crashes, not shipping features. And that's totally fine.
Still on track for Day 5 App Store submission
Anyone else find that the "unsexy" refactoring days are the most important? 🤔
I’m a bit of a subscription hater. I’ve been building apps for a long time, and I’ve grown tired of the same three options: sell your data, watch ads, or pay forever.
Life App does it differently. It includes habit tracking, tasks, a calendar, and a rich workout experience for both weight lifting and Strava-style activities like running, walking, hiking, and cycling. The real differentiator is how customizable everything is.
Your Home Screen is entirely yours. You can drag and drop widgets to surface what matters most to you. Want workouts at the top instead of tasks? Just move them. Don’t use habit tracking because you already have an app you love? Turn the feature off completely and it disappears from both the Home Screen and the navigation. Nothing you don’t use takes up space.
Life App is designed to be flexible, distraction-free, and respectful of your time. There are no subscriptions being pushed on you and no ads cluttering the experience. The only subscription is for cosmetic additions (dark mode). Every core feature is free without limitation and will stay that way.
It’s currently available on iOS and iPad with a companion Apple Watch app. Mac support is in progress so you can seamlessly access your data across all your Apple devices. Your data always stays yours, stored on device or in iCloud, never sold and never tracked.
Life App began as something I built for myself. I’m a solo engineer who builds software professionally, and I’m deeply passionate about the craft. It’s still a work in progress and I’d love to hear feedback from others. Keep up with development on r/LifeApp
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lifeapp-habit-calendar-todo/id1631700722
I created this app based on the sole reason that 90% of "daily / motivational" apps are just over gamified p*rn, and giving you an illusion that your conquering your day after completing 2 tasks.
So as a 17yr old 3+ year entrepreneur in many different business models I have genuinely learned a lot about productivity and how to exploit our selfs in getting the most out of our time (no one wants to work for 4hrs to get really 2hrs of work done, we all have better things to be doing or spending the time actually enjoying it or getting to a better version of our selfs)
And that takes me into my next point witch is distractions, and especially for my age range (if not all age ranges now), how easy it is to get distracted when working or life in general, say a text message or a noti then bam 30-45 minutes are gone to tiktok / ig, that could have been spent actually getting the work done, or doing something you genuinely enjoy instead of the half work and half scroll,
and to piggy bag off of that I had an issue and know many other people with the same issue of just daily organization (especially for people that are getting after it or are trying to better them selfs) with what to prioritize, for the day to day and day and/or daily non-negotiables (like gym, work, ect.),
So im sure most of you saw this coming but thats why I made my app LOCKD to be able to block those distracting apps, see your daily structure and see your over all progress and have your goals all in one app, and also a community system that is coming soon...,
But with all of that said even if you do your dont download LOCKD, stay LOCKD fellas and good luck with what ever you got going.

Hi r/iosapps 👋
I’m the developer of MakePaper.
This is not a new app launch — MakePaper has been around for a while, but I recently shipped a major update adding an AI Generator.
Originally, MakePaper focused on clean, minimalist text-based wallpapers.
The new update adds AI to help users generate copy directly inside the app.
What’s new in the update
The goal wasn’t to add AI for hype, but to give users more control over:

I’d love to hear feedback on the new AI feature or the overall experience.
Happy to answer any questions about the update or design decisions.
If you have feedback or suggestions, you can also email me at shawnlany.pro@gmail.com
Hi everyone,
I recently released TermAgent, a minimal SSH-enabled terminal app for iOS, and wanted to share it here in case it’s useful to others.
TermAgent is designed for developers and system administrators who want a clean, reliable SSH terminal on their phone without ads, analytics, or unnecessary features.
What it does:
Security & privacy focus:
I built this because I wanted a terminal app that I could trust for quick server access without worrying about privacy or bloated features.
App Store link:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/termagent/id6757734183
I’d really appreciate any feedback, feature suggestions, or criticism from people who regularly use SSH on mobile. Thanks for reading.
Hi,
I'm a new indie developer starting my journey.
I’ve always struggled to keep my focus on basic tasks and work. I wanted something clean, that felt native to iOS.
So, I decided to build the tool I actually needed: FocusBuddy.
FocusBuddy helps you focus on one thing at a time with a distraction-free interface. It combines a smart Pomodoro timer for your work sessions with a built-in habit tracker that you can complete with streaks to keep you motivated, so you don't have to constantly switch between different apps to stay organized.
I didn't expect this to become the app I use the most in, but it really changed how I work.
I originally built this (and a few other apps you can see in my iOS Studio) to help my friends and family, but I’d love to share it with this community.
I’m giving away 5 promo codes to unlock the Monthly Sub Premium version for free in private, the group isn't allowing to do so here, which is a rule I totally understand.
To redeem: Go to the App Store app, Tap your profile photo, Redeem Gift Card or Code
I’m really looking for genuine feedback. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Thanks, Anthony
Meet FocusLand your new gamified productivity app!
How does it work?
Everytime you focus, you gain coins which you can use to buy eggs, foods, biomes and even power ups that you can use to gain more coins and pets.
Each pet has their own happiness level and XP level that you must complete which will give you better perks!
You can visit your pets in the biomes tab and equip them for power ups!
Link your Apple calendar to view events and how long you focused on that day!
If your interested please send a reply and I'll send you an invite link as soon as public beta starts!
Hey everyone 👋
I recently launched my first app on both Android and iOS called KarmaFit: Weight Tracker, and I wanted to share it here and get some honest feedback.
The app focuses on simple and motivating weight tracking without unnecessary complexity. Some of the main features are:
I built KarmaFit because I wanted a clean, easy-to-use app that helps build good habits without ads or complicated setups.
The app is free, and I’m actively improving it, so any feedback or suggestions would mean a lot 🙏
If you’re interested in trying it out or sharing thoughts, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for reading!
I decided to lower the price from $4 to $2 for this month, mainly to get more users and feedback.
Appreciate anyone who gives it a try 🙏
Hi,
I need to wake up in the middle of the nights for my meetings but do not want to wake my wife and daughters also.
There are already other alarm apps but none do this reliably for free.
So, I used AlarmKit and made it free.

Launched an iOS app today that helps fish tank keepers keep track of their parameters and maintenance. My brother just got his first fish tank and was whining about having to track parameters in Google Sheets.
App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aquatrack-aquarium-tracker/id6757683461
I kept wanting to add more and more features while developing but I kept it pretty light for now. App is free with optional upgrade to Pro for $4.99/monthly, $29.99/yearly or $79.99/lifetime.
Would love some feedback on the UI/UX , monetization, and features.
Offering lifetime pro (normally $79.99) for free to the first 50 commenters (you don’t have to be a fish lover, could use some valuable dev insight either way!).
Appreciate any help!!
Hi everyone! 👋
I recently built and released Tracky, a completely free expense tracker focused on simplicity.
Why another expense tracker?
I was frustrated with existing apps that have 50+ specific categories. They categorize what the item is, but not why you bought it.
For example: Spotify and YouTube Music are both technically "Subscriptions/Bills." But for me, Spotify is an Essential (for daily use), while YouTube Music might just be Fun & Social (an extra luxury).
To solve this, Tracky focuses on Intent-based Categorization with just 6 main categories:
Other Key Features:
I would love your feedback on this approach!
Do you prefer these broader, intent-based categories over specific tags like "Groceries/Dining/Coffee"?

Thanks for checking it out!
Hey r/iosapps 👋 I currently have quite the stressful environment with a 2yr old and a 3 month old kid, there's screaming, crying and also a lot of joyful moments. Every night I have a few hours to myself (kids fall asleep around 7) and I thought to myself that it would be nice to practice patience and manage my stress so I googled around and something that kept popping up was this breathing technique "box breathing" which is basically inhale 4s, hold 4s, exhale 4s and hold 4s, rinse and repeat as many times as you need. This got my little developer heart pumping and I started building 🔧
Meet Breathing Exercises And A Cat which guides you on a focused set of practical breathing exercises:
Premium (IAP via RevenueCat):
Gives you 5 minute sessions, custom paces and custom duration and has the following prices:
Lifetime - $5.99, a launch offer available this first week
Weekly - $5.99 with 3-days trial
Yearly - $39.99, no trial

I’d love honest feedback from other iOS folks:

Hey all, I’m Joshua, the developer of Habitcue.
I built HabitCue because I got inspired by my friends, how we pushed each other and kept each other accountable for what we promised to do (or set as a goal). I figure I shared it with everyone else.
I know there are countless habit-tracking apps. But I have not seen (or have yet to see) an iOS-only app that leverages Apple's iOS ecosystem to deliver both privacy and social sharing features, which is the foundation for the accountability part for habit-tracking to work.
Key Features:
Pricing: HabitCue is free to download, and you can track unlimited days for up to 3 habits. To support the app's development, unlock unlimited habits and premium features, including iOS home screen widgets.
I offer Habitcue Pro at the following tiers:

I want to hear honest answers, I'm building an App myself and as someone who is building solo would love to know how easy/hard it is to make money by building an App.
Drop your app link and how much money it made.
I’ve been working on a different way to approach habits and productivity, one that doesn’t rely on streaks, checklists, or constant pressure to perform.
I received already amazing feedback and reached officially 100 users!
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/uncharted-year/id6757625271
Instead of asking “Did I do enough?”, I wanted to ask: Where did my attention actually go over time?
That idea turned into Uncharted Year, an app that represents your life as a living map. Different areas of life appear as islands, learning, health, relationships, creativity, focus, and more. When you return to something, the island becomes clearer and more detailed. When attention fades, it gently recedes. Nothing breaks. Nothing fails. The map simply reflects reality.
You don’t set goals or targets. You don’t track performance. You log small moments when they feel meaningful, a conversation, a focused hour, a pause, learning something new. Over weeks and months, patterns emerge naturally without judgment.
The intention is not to optimize productivity, but to make it visible. Not to push improvement, but to allow reflection. Progress isn’t measured by consistency or volume, but by presence.
This approach has been quietly resonating with people who feel burned out by traditional habit trackers and productivity systems. The app is now live on Android and iOS! It’s been encouraging to see people connect with the idea of treating their year as something to observe rather than manage.
I wanted to share this here because it aligns closely with many conversations in this community around sustainable productivity, awareness, and long-term balance.
Pricing: the app is completely free to use and no subscriptions are available or any ads.
Thank you for reading!
