#1 - AppGiveaway 2 weeks ago

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building DupeCoat, an Android app designed to tackle the "Designer Tax" in the UK paint industry.

High-end brands charge £110+ per tin for specific pigments that can be matched in professional trade bases for up to 60% less, if you have the right data.

  • 100% Kotlin.
  • Jetpack Compose.
  • Mapping thousands of designer shades (F&B, Little Greene, etc.) to 5-tier trade matching systems using live data feeds.
  • Supports finishes like Dulux Trade (Diamond Matt), Johnstone's Trade (Aqua Guard), and Crown Trade (Clean Extreme).

I'm at the stage where I need to stress-test the UX and the search logic. I’m looking for folks to poke holes in it.

I’ve got Android Free Lifetime Access for anyone willing to install it and give me some honest feedback, just let me know. If you’re into Kotlin, interior design, or just hate overpaying for stuff, I’d love to get you in.
