I know some apps have students discounts for limited times like, YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, Adobe Creative Cloud. And some others apps have permanent discounts for students like Gmail Drive, Microsoft Onedrive, Craft Notes, Notion and some others, At least until these companies change their terms and conditions and put an end to all.
I’ve made a meditation timer for people who want a beautiful and minimal timer for their mindfulness practices (meditation, tea ceremony, yoga, etc).
My focus was on creating a clean and elegant UI, adding high-quality chimes (inspired by chakra frequencies in the form of 3d natural rocks), works with screen locked, syncs to Apple Health. No accounts, no tracking.
Free till end of January or till I change my mind.
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a small side project and finally launched it on App Store.
It’s called WordSolve for 5-Letter Puzzles, and it’s designed for people who enjoy Wordle puzzles and want tools to improve their strategy. -> Screenshots
This isn’t an answer/cheat app — it doesn’t reveal today’s solution or play the game for you.
Instead, it helps you understand patterns, explore possibilities, and get better over time.
The app is currently free to use.
I built this because I love Wordle-style puzzles, and I wanted something that helped me practice and think more strategically without spoiling the fun.
If you’re into Wordle, I’d love if you tried it out and told me what you think — all feedback is welcome!

I found a simple way to bring back Tubidy. 👉 First, download the Pancake Store using the video guide. 👉 The first video is a YouTube link. 👉 After that, my video will be posted here. Just follow the steps in order, and you’ll have it working again.
I am considering acquiring a small iOS app with around 8k existing users. The purchase price is low and the main value is the user base, not the code.
The plan would likely involve rewriting the app from scratch and fully rebranding it. The general category would stay similar, but the product positioning, UI, and feature set would evolve significantly over time.
Has anyone here gone through an acquisition like this and dealt with Apple review in that process?
Specifically curious about:
Would appreciate real experiences or lessons learned.
Message to developers who know how to build great apps but don’t know much about marketing.
If you have a business mindset, we can build something strong. I can start creating content for your app before you build mine, to prove it to you.
I’ve been doing TikTok since late 2022 across multiples accounts.
I’m now getting into mobile apps but I don’t code.
If you’re a developer who can build solid, good app let do a partnership.
Long story short, I lost 40kg.
I did it without a PT, without a coach, and without a single app that actually made sense. I picked up bits and pieces by watching fit people, asking questions, and learning the hard way. Most fitness apps were either annoying, overcomplicated, or clearly not built for normal people trying to stay consistent.
So I built what I wish I had back then, Pocket Fit.
I validated the idea in a funny way, sitting in the sauna and asking people - "Do you use any fitness apps and why", "What would be a groundbreaking change", "What would you pay for". Enough people said yes, so I kept building. What started as a solo project turned into something bigger, and now there’s a small team behind it.
Pocket Fit focuses on what actually matters.
The goal isn’t to scream motivation or pretend discipline is infinite. It’s to remove friction, make training understandable, and help people stay consistent without overthinking everything.
The app is live now and we’re still improving it.
I’m looking for people who are happy to test it properly.
Positive feedback is great. Negative feedback is how this gets better. If you’re up for testing Pocket Fit and giving real feedback, I’d genuinely appreciate it. There's a 2 week free trial, cancel anytime. All I seek is feedback.
App is also available for Android:
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pocket-fit-workout-tracker/id6748518785
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pocketsquats&hl=en_US
I built Echo because I noticed how much anxiety comes from waiting on messages or feeling socially quiet.
It’s a chat-with-AI app, but not for tasks or productivity. It’s just conversation, different personalities you can switch between depending on how you feel (supportive, playful, chaotic, calm).
Not trying to replace people. Just something to talk to when no one’s around.
If this sounds useful, I’m open to feedback.
Hey folks!
I’m about to become a digital nomad, and a few months ago I started looking for a simple way to track how many days I spend in different countries (tax rules, Schengen limits, etc.).
I tried more than 10 apps, but none of them really worked the way I needed. So I ended up building my own iOS app mainly for myself.
It started as a simple days tracker with custom limits and fiscal year start. Over time I added things like country runways (including Schengen), alerts, a map, widgets, and data export.
I’d honestly LOVE to get feedback from other people who deal with the same problem (if you are a digital nomad would be even better!).
If anyone’s interested, I made a small waitlist here: https://www.thenomadtracker.com
You’ll get a TestFlight link after submitting your email.
Happy to answer questions or hear how you’re currently tracking this 👋
The theory that spikes in pizza orders near the Pentagon correlate with military activity has gone viral again because of the Venezuela bombing and the Maduro capture. So we made an app to track it directly from your phone.
It uses real-time Google Maps “busyness” data from Freddy’s Bar and pizza places near the Pentagon.
The app generates a DEFCON-style alert level based on traffic anomalies, with a widget that shows the DEFCON level in real time. You can also receive notifications.
It includes a historical timeline so you can compare with previous hours.
You can track the DEFCON level for free, and pay for access to granular data.

We made this for fun, inspired by other available tools, but none existed on the App Store.
Appreciate any feedback or ideas 🙂

Hey everyone,
What do you actually want from a productivity app?
I love the productivity space, but there are already lots of apps covering a wide range of productivity areas, and many of them take a very similar approach.
I’d like to know what you like or would like to see in a productivity app if you had to use only one, whether daily or just occasionally.
Hi everyone,
We built Kids Art Studio, a drawing app built for children, but fun for adults as well. You draw freely on the canvas, and the app brings your imagination to life.
You can try the app with 10 free successful creations before unlocking anything (4.99$ unlimited creations).
The process was as following. We used ChatGPT Plus for anything related to specification of the app, getting to clarify requirements etc. We then created a specification file with all the details.
We fed this specification to Claude Code and created a plan and a progress tracker (to be able to keep progress between context windows). Iterating through the plan phases and at the end running the app and improving different workflow.
Recraft was used for some icons / images.
We’re a small indie studio (just two of us), at the beginning of our road, and we genuinely believe in ethical mobile development: no ads or manipulative mechanics, especially in apps made for kids, fair pricing.
Therefore, the experience is offline-first and privacy-focused:
All successful & accepted artworks are saved locally and shown in a simple in-app gallery.
The app is designed for kids and includes a parental gate (small math question) for purchases and for sharing images externally.

Hi everyone! I’d like to share the story of building and iterating my iOS app: EasyPaste.
EasyPaste is a clipboard manager for iOS, with both a main app and a custom keyboard extension. The keyboard lets you quickly insert previously copied content or your own saved snippets during chats.
Why did I build EasyPaste?
Initially, I made this app for myself. In my daily work, I often need to copy multiple pieces of text and send them repeatedly to users. But iOS only lets you copy and paste one item at a time, which was frustrating and slowed me down. And I didn’t want to use third-party keyboards. So I decided to build my own tool.
The first version was a simple “clipboard history,” but soon I realized many people had the same problem—and they wanted quick access from the keyboard. So I added a keyboard extension and designed the UI to feel as close to the system style as possible, to keep things simple.
Here are some key improvements during the journey:
1. Word segmentation & Face ID protection
Early users told me they didn’t always want to paste the entire text, so I added word segmentation—letting users pick specific words or phrases. For sensitive content (like addresses), I added Face ID authentication for extra security.
2. Overcoming iOS limitations
A common question: “Why does EasyPaste only keep the last copied item?”This happens because iOS restricts clipboard access to when the app is in the foreground. To fix this, I added Continuous Copy Mode, which uses a PiP floating window to keep EasyPaste active so it can record multiple items in a row. This feature became a favorite among users (and me too!).
3. Number keyboard & calculator
At first, the custom keyboard was for quick text snippets, but when those snippets included numbers, switching back to the system keyboard was annoying. So I added a number keyboard. Later, based on user feedback, I turned it into a mini calculator—perfect for merchants or anyone who needs quick calculations.
4. UI polish and performance improvements
I’ve been refining the UI and user experience with every update. Next, I plan to optimize the code for better stability and speed—this is my very first iOS app, so I want to make it solid.
Currently, EasyPaste has 389 ratings with an average of 4.6 stars.
I’ll keep improving it to deliver a better experience. If you think it could help you, give it a try! A good rating would mean the world to me. And if you have any issues, feel free to reach out via the in-app contact option—I’ll do my best to help.

Pricing
Monthly Subscription: $0.99 — A great option for short-term use.
Half-year Subscription: $3.99 — Ideal for users who need to use the clipboard frequently.
Lifetime Access: $4.99 — One-time payment, lifetime access

Hey everyone, I am a student and I am currently looking for beta testers for an iOS app Stiint I built.
The app tracks your daily activities automatically using Apple Shortcuts. Instead of manually logging habits or routines, activities start and stop based on triggers you define. For example, your morning routine can start when you get out of bed, then switch to a commute activity when you leave home, and so on. You can model your day as precisely as you want.
The app is completely privacy focused. All data stays on your device or in iCloud. There is no backend, no tracking, and no data collection.
This project started as something I built for myself and is still mainly for fun. I plan to keep improving it and experiment with features like simple ML based insights in the future. It is not commercial right now.
Here is the TestFlight link for the beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/1UABu1wx
If this sounds interesting to you and you would like to test it or give feedback, feel free to comment or send me a message.
Thanks a lot
Salut la communauté,

Qu'est ce qui serait game changer selon vous ?
Hey everyone! I wanted to share an app I've been working on called **Cee** - a speed trap and radar alert app designed to be a cleaner, simpler alternative to Waze.
**What it does:**
- Real-time community-driven speed trap and radar alerts
- Works on both iPhone and Apple Watch
- Share your location with friends and see each other's custom cars on the map
- Clean, minimal interface without the clutter
- CarPlay support coming soon
- More languages on the way
**Why I built it:**
I love Waze for alerts, but found it too cluttered for everyday driving. Cee focuses on doing one thing well - keeping you informed about speed traps ahead.
The app is **free** to download.
**App Store:** https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cee-speed-camera-radar/id6443676159

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say thank you first. I genuinely didn’t expect the earlier discussion to get so much attention or such thoughtful feedback. The comments and DMs helped me see things much more clearly.
A few people asked how they could support the project or get early access, so I decided to open a Founder Lifetime option for early supporters.
A bit more context on the app:
I’m building an iOS app called StackSafe for people who take multiple supplements or medications and want to avoid mistakes — like unnecessary duplicates, questionable combinations, or just guessing if something is actually worth taking. The goal is to make decisions more clear, conservative, and science-based, without hype.
Here’s exactly what the Founder Lifetime is (keeping it simple and transparent):

Hi!
I love falling asleep to the sound of rain so I made an app that lets you do exactly that.
You can mix your own rainy sounds, play premade rain sounds and immerse in ambient rainy videos with optional voice over stories.
It's completely free but a positive review would really go a long way helping me.

Been about 8 months since I last posted Journelly to r/iosapps. The app remains a single-payment app and has since received:
Why no trial or free download? I've tried this in the past. I ended up stressing a lot about super unreasonable App Store reviews, feature requests with unreasonable demands, and generally worked more to appease users who downloaded the app for free but never intend to pay to help make the work sustainable. On the other hand, Journelly is a single-payment app (no subscriptions, privacy-focused, offline, no analytics, no ads, no accounts, no social, etc). While I hope Journelly finds a spot in your phone, refunds are totally doable by requesting directly from the App Store.
Hope you like my app.
Álvaro
Noticed our little tracking app crossed the 1k user mark and honestly I'm pretty stoked on this because we've spent $0 on ads. The whole thing costs me about $10/mo to keep running.
Some cool stats I pulled from the db:
I'm building this app with my wife, who is an MD. We wanted to make something that was useful. We have plans to leverage her medical background to add more deep health and science-based features soon, but for now, we're just happy providing a simple, free utility to the community.
Just a reminder that you don't always need a massive marketing budget. Sometimes building something simple is enough.
Thought about it, and it might be cool to upload to your Ai agent an official Apple requirements file (that I guess you can download somewhere) and then do self review before submitting to Apple, what do you think?
Hey r/iosapps 👋
A couple days ago I posted here asking how you handle App Store screenshots. Got some helpful responses — thanks for that.
Today I launched Spectra.fm on Product Hunt.
Quick recap: it's a tool that lets you define a screenshot layout once, then export all variations (locales, devices, themes) automatically. You work with an AI assistant instead of a canvas.
Still early. Still shaping it based on feedback.
If you're curious or want to support the launch: 👉 [Product Hunt Launch]
Happy to answer questions — and still open to hearing how you handle this today.
For my bus system and for a few stores they require you have qr codes for membership or coupon, and i was told wandering if there is a way to add either qr codes or images to a wallet pass.
so far my only solutions have been making an apple shortcut with the qr code data, then adding shortcut to home screen, but that still isn’t inside wallet, and all the apps i’ve seen have so much extra and you have to pay to actually add it to wallet. i just want a at code that takes up most of the screen, and maybe a title so i know which store it’s from.
if there’s also a way to do this that isn’t an app i’m open to suggestions!
thanks
Hey everyone, I just pushed a major update to my app, Anxiety Pulse.
The core idea is simple: Tracking triggers is great, but remembering the solution is better. I built this to help users (and myself) document their coping mechanisms so they don't have to reinvent the wheel during every anxious episode.
Update Log (v2.1.0):
Monetization: Free to use for basic tracking. A single $4.99 IAP unlocks unlimited history and advanced insights.

I’m not affiliated with this app or the team behind it — just sharing something I found. As always, please check it out and use it at your own risk before committing or uploading anything important.
If anyone here tries it, I’d love to hear your thoughts: • Is it legit? • Useful for creators or overhyped? • Any red flags?
Drop your feedback so others can decide whether it’s worth their time 🙂
soo yah, my cat was super depressed. She stopped going outside, wouldnt eat properly, wouldnt play… and we had no clue what to do 😭
Everyone in my house feeds her, so I’d be standing there like “wait… did I feed you or not?” and she’d just stare at me like she has not eaten since she was born 😂
So I built an app to stop the guessing, and the wild part is it showed us the real problem. The pet calorie tracker made it obvious she was in a calorie deficit for days, which explained the low energy and mood 😬
We fixed her routine, got her back on target, and she’s genuinely way more herself again. That app became Pawfolio ❤️
One tap feed logging (Macros), calorie tracking, reminders, and family sharing so everyone stays synced ⚡️
If you’ve got pets, what would you want an app like this to do? I can drop the App Store link in the comments if anyone wants to try it 🙏
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on Splitty after getting tired of manually splitting bills with friends.
With Splitty, you scan a receipt, add people, and assign items to each person. It also generates a clear per-person breakdown so no one’s confused about what they owe.
There’s a free version, and I also added an optional subscription called Splitty Plus for £1.99/month, for things like unlimited receipt scans, ad removal, and full history viewing.
Curious what you guys think, all feedback would be greatly appreciated!
After almost dying 18 months ago from my partner of 8 years trying to ‘Gone Girl’ me, I decided to make this app to make sure I never happens to anyone else.

Is there an app similar to Text Sniper on MacOS for iOS? I want to be able to copy from anywhere - Apps, Browsers Documents, etc. - using Apple Vision or the like when text is otherwise not selectable. I don’t want to have to screenshot first.
Hi all,
Since it’s the time of the year where many of us are thinking about picking up healthier habits, I thought I’d share some major updates to FitBee, a calorie and macronutrient tracker I've been building solo over the past year and a half.
The most rewarding part of this journey hasn't been the code, but hearing from users and having real-world impact. Someone recently reached out to let me know they’ve lost 30lbs using FitBee so far. They mentioned that because the app is fast and bloat-free, it was the first time they actually stuck with tracking. Hearing that is exactly why I started this project—to build a tool that gets out of your way so you can hit your goals.
FitBee is free for basic tracking, including barcode and nutrition label scanning and no ads. To take advantage of the premium features, you can sign up for a monthly or annual subscription. There's also a one time purchase option available (which a surprisingly many of you have used!.)

Thanks for taking a look!
Hi everyone,
I got tired of endless meetings costing thousands of dollars without results. So I built "Meeting Meter" as a side project.
It’s a simple iOS app designed to be put on the table during a meeting. It calculates the cost based on participants and hourly rates in real-time. Seeing the money burn live changes the meeting dynamic instantly.
Features:
I'd love to hear your feedback on the design and functionality!
Hi everyone!
I recently built Subscription Calendar because I wanted to track my recurring expenses without sharing my bank credentials with a third-party app, I do not think this is easily doable in my area and with my bank. I wanted something simple that just tells me what is due and when.
It’s a manual-entry tracker (data stays on your device/iCloud) that helps you visualize your monthly bills on a calendar and sends reminders before renewals.
Key Features:
It’s free to track up to 5 subscriptions (forever), and there's a lifetime one-time purchase for unlimited (no monthly sub for a sub tracker!).
I’d love your feedback on:
The app is Free for the first 5 subs and then 4.99$/Lifetime
