WristAI — real-time voice AI for Apple Watch and iPhone

I built an app that uses OpenAI's Realtime API for actual voice-to-voice conversations. Not the usual speech-to-text → ChatGPT → text-to-speech chain that most voice apps use.

Why it's different:

Most voice AI apps convert your speech to text, send it to an LLM, get text back, then convert that to speech. It's slow, robotic, and loses all the nuance in your voice.

The Realtime API is true voice-to-voice. It hears your actual tone and responds with natural intonation. Latency is under a second. You can interrupt mid-sentence and it adjusts. Feels like talking to a person, not dictating to a system.

What's new:

Started as a watch-only app but just shipped two updates:

  • iPhone app — same real-time voice experience, just on your phone when you want it. Useful when you're not wearing your watch or just want the bigger screen.
  • Personas — you can switch between different AI personalities now. Some are more casual and chatty, some are more direct and focused. Each has its own voice and conversational style. Nice for matching the vibe to what you actually need in the moment.

How it works:

The watch app runs standalone over WiFi or cellular — no iPhone needed. Obviously works with iPhone nearby too. The iPhone app is its own thing, same underlying tech.

Use cases I've found useful:

  • Hands-free questions while cooking or driving
  • Quick facts without pulling out my phone
  • Talking through decisions out loud and getting a second opinion
  • Random stuff I'm curious about throughout the day

Pricing:

The Realtime API is expensive (which is why most apps avoid it). So there's a subscription. But I cover the API costs for a 3-day free trial so you can actually try it properly before deciding.

In Search of

Notes apps are all either too much or too minimalistic.

Does this note app exist:

  • Quick, shorter notes
  • Rich text
  • Image upload
  • Tags
  • Groups/Subjects Menu on top, not folders in a sidebar menu
  • On device/iCloud only
  • iOS and Mac capable
  • No AI

My absolutely perfect app is a merge of Anecnote and Zynotes.

Anecnote : no rich text or markdown, no images, slightly glitchy in iOS, but I really like the interface and the look of the all-notes layout. This is the app I am most leaning towards. The lifetime purchase is incredibly reasonable, making it easier to deal with not having everything I'd like.

Zynotes : has rich text and image abilities, but Mac support is lacking, and notes on the all-notes screen layout are a bit too large/too much for my taste, and Zynotes only lets you create ONE note before you have to pay, so I don't really know how I would like the layout with multiple notes. Lifetime purchase is a bit steep for something that isn't exactly what I want.

If anyone knows of the app I'm searching for, I'd appreciate the recommendations.

5 months building an app that organizes my day through virtues.

Hi everyone!

I built Stoivyn because I was feeling overwhelmed and reactive even when it is not necessary. Most productivity apps just help you check boxes, but I needed something that actually builds character through Stoicism.

Why I built it:

Stoicism teaches we can't control external events, only our responses. I wanted an app that structures your day around the four cardinal virtues (Wisdom, Courage, Justice, Temperance) rather than just tasks.

Key Features:

• Daily Rituals - Customizable practices organized by virtue

• Reflections - Guided journaling and deep self-examination prompts

• Breathing Exercises - Quick reset when things get overwhelming

• Progress Tracking - Visual journey with streaks and virtue development

• Friends - Share rituals for accountability

• Personalized Assessment - Identifies which virtues need attention

Hey r/AppGiveaway, indie dev here.

I built ReDo Loop because my calendar kept filling up with things that were not real events. Changing filters, replacing toothbrushes, haircuts, routine checkups, and similar recurring tasks.

Calendars work great for one time, unmissable events, but for recurring life maintenance they always felt like the wrong tool.

So ReDo Loop focuses only on recurring tasks you want to offload from your calendar.

The feature that ended up mattering most for me is Relaxed repeats.
The interval starts after you complete the task.
For example, replace a toothbrush every 3 months after it is done, not on a fixed date.

It also supports:

  • fixed schedules such as specific dates or weekdays
  • positional rules like first Monday or last weekend
  • daily routines, one time tasks, and simple tracking where you log when something was done

Privacy wise, everything is stored locally. No accounts, no ads, no analytics.

I am running a New Year lifetime giveaway  and would really appreciate feedback from this community:

  • does the recurring model make sense?
  • anything missing or confusing?
  • features you would expect next?

Happy to answer questions or take criticism. Thanks for reading.

💔 I ignored red flags for 6 months. Built an app so you don't. [iOS]

Hey everyone! Solo indie dev here.

I just launched Gut - an AI app that tracks relationship patterns so you don't ignore red flags for months like I did.

**What it does:**

- Log moments in 10 seconds (voice or text)

- AI analyzes behavior patterns

- Shows you a relationship "score" over time

- Detects patterns: "Trust issues appeared 4x in 3 weeks"

- Shows YOU your own words from past entries

**Why I built it:**

After my last relationship, I realized I rationalized obvious red flags for months. "Maybe I'm overreacting." "Things will get better." They didn't.

I needed something to show me patterns clearly. So I built it.

**What makes it different:**

- Not judgmental - doesn't tell you to "leave"

- Just clarity - shows patterns you might miss

- Your own words - app shows what YOU said weeks ago

- Voice input - because typing sucks

**It's free to try** - 10 AI analyses to start, see if it helps you.

If you've ever wished you caught red flags sooner, this is for you.

Just launched - would love feedback! 🚀

I am really proud of this year wrapped, and almost 4k users watched it already!
If you want to have a similar one at the end of 2026 you should try my app.

I have the most generous gym workout tracker on the market. It offers the most features without paying.
It now also has paid features, but those are optional, and the app is a complete tool without them.

What makes it stand out:
- Unlimited workout routines (most apps limit to 3)
- Unlimited custom own exercises
- Free workout sharing
- Great for hybrid athletes
- Advanced charts for data analysis with unlimited history
- Plan the weights and reps for next workout to ensure progressive overload
- Works offline, no ads, no tracking and data collection

And wrapped is coloured to mathc your theme too

I built a free couple's bucket list app where a pet grows with your love.

Hi r/iosapps!

I’m a solo developer and I’ve just released my new app, Withly.

While standard note apps are functional, I felt they lacked warmth. I wanted something more special to capture the excitement of planning our future and the joy of achieving things together.

So I created Withly – a unique space just for the two of us, filled with the stories we collect together.

Key Features:

- Grow a Pet Together

You meet a special pet that grows along with your love. It makes clearing the list so much more fun!

- Shared Wishlist

Syncs in real-time. Create a list for two and start checking things off together.

- Record Moments

Don't just check a box. Add reviews to look back on the memories you’ve made.

- Stay Synced

Get push notifications when your partner adds a new wish or completes one.

- Private Space

A unique space just for the two of you, filled with the stories you collect.

🔗 App Store Link:

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6752386496

I really enjoyed building this. I just hope this app brings a little more warmth and excitement to your relationship. I'd love to hear your feedbacks!

I built Spectator, a free read-only Bitcoin wallet tracker

I was looking for a way to track the value of my Bitcoin. I store my crypto in a hardware wallet, and most iOS apps are full-featured wallets designed for sending transactions. But I just wanted to monitor my investments without exposing my private key.

So I built Spectator, a Swift UI app where you only need to enter your public wallet address. There's no security risk because it cannot access your Bitcoin at all. It just reads data from the public blockchain.

Features:

  • Track multiple wallets
  • Home screen widget
  • Interactive charts showing gains and losses
  • Full transaction history with USD value at time of each transaction

The app is completely free with no ads. This is my first iOS app, so I'd really appreciate any feedback.

Unlock apps as you walk - WalkLock

WalkLock reduces screen time (Free, $12.99/yr Pro)

Hello! I built WalkLock to help me walk more and scroll less by adding movement-based friction to distracting apps. You earn access by walking.

How it works

  • Pick apps to lock
  • Set a step goal
  • If you haven’t walked enough and try to open a locked app, it stays locked
  • Choose hourly or daily goals and WalkLock runs in the background and locks/unlocks apps throughout the day

(For the iOS devs: it uses Screen Time/app shielding, FamilyControls, DeviceActivity to gate apps, and step count from Apple Health / HealthKit)

Why I made it

Screen Time felt too binary for me (either blocked or not). WalkLock anchors access to step count, so I’m more likely to take a quick walk instead of doomscrolling.

Pricing

  • Free with limits (number of apps you can lock + fewer power features)
  • $12.99/year Pro: no limits + extra features (stats + reminders)

Privacy

I use aggregate analytics to improve the app, and data is never sold.

Hey Reddit,

I’m an iOS developer and I built a small app for myself because I wanted a frictionless way to reflect on my days.

The idea is simple: once a day, rate how the day felt. Over time you get a surprisingly honest picture of your life - weeks, months, years.

What mattered to me when building it:

•	no account

•	data stays on device

•	one tap per day

•	calm, minimal UI

I’ve been using it daily and it helped me notice patterns I was completely missing, so I decided to ship it.

I’d really appreciate feedback - especially what feels unnecessary, confusing, or missing.

Hey Reddit 👋

I’ve been using Swipewipe-like photo cleaners for a long time.

The swipe concept itself is great - I didn’t want to reinvent that.

What did bother me was the UX. So I built Siftly - very similar core idea, but with a few things I personally missed.

What I added / changed:

  • Cleaner, calmer swipe flow
  • A safe photo format optimization feature - especially useful for heavy .DNG / RAW photos (keep the photo, save storage)
  • Light gamification: levels & progress, so long cleanup sessions feel less endless
  • Full undo, no destructive auto-actions
  • Everything happens on-device

It’s still swipe-based, still fast - just more deliberate and less stressful.

This is an indie project and still evolving.

I’d love feedback from people who already use Swipewipe-style apps and have opinions on what works and what doesn’t.

Happy to discuss UX decisions, RAW optimization, or what I got wrong 🙂

Hi r/iosapps,

I’m a solo developer who has poured my heart and soul into building Sleepscape. To keep this project alive, I’m actually working a part-time job during the day and coding this app all night.

My Goal was simple: to create a seamless, all-in-one night experience. I wanted to combine high-quality customizable sleep sounds and a gradual alarm that wakes you up gently—all in one place at an affordable price.

The Reality: Despite my passion and late-night coding sessions, the app isn't growing as I expected. I’m at a point where I need to know the truth from people who actually use apps. Is the UI confusing? Is the value not clear? Or am I missing something huge that users actually want?

I need your fresh perspectives. Please rate these 0-10:

  1. Onboarding: Is it clear what the app does from the moment you open it?
  2. Visual Design & UI: Is the app's design aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to use at night?
  3. Features & Content: How would you rate the variety of sounds and the overall features? (Are there sounds you like? Is the app useful?)
  4. Your Opinion: Anything you want to see in the future in my app or you would like me to know.

🎁 As a small thank you: If you leave your honest ratings and feedback below, I will personally DM you a Lifetime Premium Promo Code. I can't offer much right now, but I can offer you my life’s work for free, forever. (Currently only English is supported)

App Store Link: [https://apps.apple.com/kr/app/sleepscape-sleep-aid-alarm/id6476834080]

Thank you for helping a struggling dev find the right path. I’ll be checking the comments and sending out DMs as often as I can whenever I have a moment!

It’s stupidly simple and that’s the point.

If you’re bored in class, stuck in a line, or killing time on a long flight, this might help.

You dodge enemies, collect coins, and try to survive wave after wave.
There are bosses, end-of-wave bonuses, and some basic UI customization.

I’ll probably add ads and IAP later, but right now it’s completely clean, so this is the best time to try it.

Question

Hey everyone! 👋

Joris here.

I'm currently deep in building the next release of DayZen, and I want to make sure I'm building what people actually need.

What I'm curious about:

  • What features would you love to see added to the visual time planner?
  • Any pain points or friction you experience in your current workflow?
  • Small quality-of-life improvements that would make a big difference?
  • Changes that would make the app more enjoyable or interesting for you?

Whether it's about the radial interface, widgets, calendar sync, focus mode, or something completely new  I would love to hear it all. Even if you think it's a "small thing," please share it with me!

The app has grown so much thanks to feedback from this community, and I'm excited to keep building with your input.

Hi everyone! 👋🏻

I’m the developer of NoteSpeak — when I first shared it here with a deal, it became one of the most popular apps mentioned. Thanks to that support, me and my co-founder kept building more “talk instead of type” tools that solve real problems.

A lot of you asked if we could do another deal… so we’re doing one more special drop for NoteSpeak 🎉

What NoteSpeak does (quick recap): It lets you speak messy thoughts, and it turns them into clean, organized notes (with summaries, structure, and clarity). Great for meetings, studying, journaling, brainstorming, or capturing ideas on the go — without typing.

🔥 The Deal (Lifetime)

* ✅ FREE Lifetime for the first 1,000 users No code. If you catch it as free, it’s yours.

* Then $0.99 for the next 1,000 users

* Then $1.99 for the next 9,000 users

After that, it returns to the normal $99.99

How to claim?

  1. Download NoteSpeak: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6752627437

  2. Open the app — the paywall will appear

  3. Tap “Show More” at the bottom

  4. Pick Lifetime and confirm (check the final Apple prompt for the exact price)

Optional (but hugely appreciated): Upvote + comment so more people in the community can catch the deal ❤️

A rating or short review on Apple Store would mean a lot 🥹 — it really helps me to make these apps even better and offer you guys perfect deals.

Have a great day,

Hi everyone,

I like reading, but I can’t stand how most book tracking apps feel like social networks. Feeds, profiles, recommendations, and friction for something that should be quiet.

So I built PageFlow.

What it is

PageFlow is a calm, private, offline-first book tracker. No account. No ads. No social feed. Your library stays on your device, with optional iCloud sync.

How it works

  • Add a book
  • Choose a shelf (To Read, Reading, Finished, DNF)
  • Update progress in a couple taps
  • Search and sort your library as it grows
  • Check Insights when you actually want to reflect

Insights (stats)

PageFlow shows books and pages by month and year, plus extra insights. Everything is stored on-device. The goal is reflection, not performance.

Who it’s for

If you want a private alternative to the “Goodreads-but-social” vibe, this is for you. It’s built to be fast, calm, and respectful of your data. Accessibility is a priority (Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, etc.).

Pricing

  • Free to try (limited books)
  • Pro: $3.99/month, $34.99/year, or $59.99 lifetime (regional pricing may vary)

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pageflow-book-tracker-log/id6753876053

If you try it, I’d love feedback on one thing: do you prefer tracking progress by pages, percent, or just status changes (Reading/Finished/DNF)?

Question

I’ve been trying to find a decent casino app lately, but most of them feel like they just loaded a slow mobile website into a container and called it an app. The UI lag is honestly brutal, especially when you’re trying to play live games or anything with higher graphics.

Does anyone know of any that actually feel native and built for iOS? I’m looking for something that responds instantly without the weird page refreshes and actually feels smooth on a modern iPhone. Even the big corporate names feel like they haven’t updated their tech in years.

Is there a gold standard for this right now or is every gambling app just a clunky web-wrapper?

The fastest way to reach your contacts and get in touch with them.

I’ve always found it weird how complicated it is to simply call or message a contact on iPhone. Whether you’re trying to use the default Phone app, WhatsApp, or Telegram, it’s always the same multi step process: Open the app > go to contacts > tap search > type the name on a tiny keyboard > scroll > tap the contact > then tap again to call or message.

It’s slow, full of distractions, error prone (especially with mixed language names), and definitely not ideal when you’re in a hurry or worse, behind the wheel (don’t do that!).

So I built a free app called 9Dial that simplifies everything.

Here’s what it does:

- Open the app

- Tap a few letters on a large, thumb friendly keypad

- Instantly find the contact

- Tap to call, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS , face time or signal, no search bar, no switching screens, just act.

Unique features:

- Supports mixed-language names (like Arabic+English)

- Has long press speed dial for your favorites

- Supports all languages, even those not listed in the app settings by just customizing the keypad layout for your language. even for emoji based names

- Color-code each language, contact type, or number label (like “mobile” or “home”) to quickly recognize contacts or specific numbers at a glance.

- Customize font sizes and icons in the results list, for easier finding, even without your glasses.

- Show your last interactions in a glance to easily recall or message in one tap.

- Double click on the dial button to redial the last number.

It basically brings back the speed and simplicity of old school phones, but with smart contact recognition and modern messaging support.

The app ensures your privacy, and all your data remains securely stored on your phone.

The app is completely free.

Do you also hate typing tasks? My wife and I built an iOS app that turns voice brain dumps into a daily plan

Hi everyone, my wife and I built ListN because we both had the same problem in different ways.

I do not stick to typing tasks, it feels slow and I avoid it. My wife has lots of ideas at once, and juggling multiple lists plus combining them later is exhausting.

ListN is voice-first: you speak a brain dump, and it turns it into:

  • Clean notes you can read
  • Multiple tasks from one capture
  • Categories (you can create your own, it can auto-assign)
  • Auto-scheduling based on available time
  • Task-level attached notes so you remember the “why” later

It also includes daily plan + daily insights (yesterday recap + quote) and morning/evening check-ins.

Pricing: subscription. 20 free brain dumps, then you need a plan. Current intro pricing through March 31, 2026: $6.99/month or $49.99/year.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/listn-voice-in-plan-out/id6751431183

We would love to get some feedback and see if there are others who face these issues as well and if you think our app could help you!

[Lifetime Access 59.99£] [24hrs Only] WealthYogi : Finance Health Audit [FREE + IAP]

Hi everyone,

Like many people, I’m always asking myself a simple question:

“Am I actually on track financially? How to improve my finances”

I wanted a clear answer without:

- sharing my accounts balances or portfolio numbers with anyone
- using third-party aggregators which sell my account data or
- juggling spreadsheets which is not portable

So I built WealthYogi — a private net worth & financial clarity app where everything is entered stays on your device.

The core idea is a Financial Health Score, which helps understand financial health privately but also guides us in how to focus on improving it.

- Provide 10+ Financial Health Indicators and its health
- Gives a quick “financial audit” style view of where you stand overall
- Helps highlight which area to focus on next

It’s been useful for me personally, so I wanted to see if it resonates with others pursuing FIRE.

Planned features
- FIRE Planner (time to FI based on current trajectory)
- Debt payoff planner
- Short-term goal tracking (house deposit, car, wedding, etc.)

Looking for early App Store feedback 🙏

The app is available on iOS and Android.
If you try the app and leave a genuine App Store review, I’m offering:
- A free promo code unlocking all current + upcoming premium features

I genuinely want feedback from people who care about financial independence.

How it works:

  1. Try the app
  2. Leave an honest App Store review
  3. DM me your review and I’ll share a promo code

Happy to answer questions and very open to criticism — this is still early-stage

Thanks!

Hi r/iosapps!

I'm a student developer and I've just released PathFill, a number-connection puzzle designed specifically for the iOS ecosystem. My goal was to create a "premium" tactile experience rather than just another puzzle game.

Key Features:

  • Built with Swift 6 & SwiftUI: Leveraging the latest native features for a buttery-smooth experience.
  • Deep Haptic Feedback: Every connection (1 → 2 → 3) uses Core Haptics to provide a satisfying tactile "click."
  • Aurora Theme Engine: Stunning gradient themes with real-time particle effects (snow/sparks).
  • 10,000+ Unique Levels: 4 grid sizes (4x4 to 7x7) with logic-based procedural generation.
  • iOS Native Integration: Game Center support, Apple Music SDK integration, and full Dark Mode support.

App Info:

Looking for Feedback:

As I'm preparing for university admissions, I've focused heavily on the technical polish. I would love your thoughts on:

  1. The UI/UX flow—does it feel like a first-class iOS app?
  2. The Haptic intensity—is it satisfying
  3. Any features you'd like to see in future SwiftUI-based updates?

I'm happy to discuss the SwiftUI architecture or the procedural grid generation in the comments!

Hey everyone 👋

I’m the indie dev behind DinkAI, an AI-powered pickleball analysis app that helps players understand what’s actually wrong with their game — not just track scores.

I’m sharing it here because:

  • The app is free to try
  • I’m actively looking for real user feedback
  • Pickleball players here tend to be brutally honest (which I want 😄)

🔗 Website: https://dinkai.app
🔗 iOS : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dinkai-your-pickleball-coach/id6755826435

What does DinkAI do?

  • 🎥 Analyze your gameplay videos with AI
  • 📐 Break down technique, movement, positioning
  • 📈 Track progress over time (not just wins/losses)
  • 🧠 Actionable feedback you can actually use next session

Think of it as:

>

Why I’m posting here

This is still early, and I’m trying to shape the app around what players actually care about, not what I think they care about.

If you:

  • Play pickleball regularly
  • Record your games
  • Want to improve, not just track scores

I’d really appreciate you trying it and telling me:

  • What feels useful
  • What feels confusing
  • What’s missing / unnecessary

No pressure, no paywall push — just trying to make something genuinely helpful for players.

Thanks for supporting indie devs 🙏
Happy to answer any questions in the comments.

Testflight

Hi everyone, I am looking for a handful of TestFlight testers for my app Prism, a fully native SwiftUI movie and TV discovery and playback companion for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. tvOS is in progress and coming soon; it just needs some layout polish.

I've been working on this for a while and built it for myself because, while there are plenty of media apps with add-on support, I have never found one that combines all of these features in one place the way I wanted. Now that it is in a polished state, I would really benefit from fresh eyes to catch edge cases and get UI/UX feedback before I ship to the App Store.

What it does

  • Discovery and rich metadata (TMDB, plus AniList for anime)
  • Fully customizable home page with adjustable shelf sizes/ratios
  • TMDB-based custom filters to build shelves by genre, cast/crew, year, rating, and more
  • Optional MDBList integration to choose your preferred ratings source (IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes audience score, etc.)
  • Trakt integration (two-way sync for watch history, upcoming movies/shows, and watchlist)
  • Inline YouTube trailers with audio (built in, not a redirect)
  • Auto-play the best stream (based on your resolution preference)
  • Add-on support (Stremio add-ons for streams, subtitles, etc.)
  • External player handoff (Infuse, VLC, Outplayer, VidHub)
  • In-app downloads for offline playback (and open in your external player)
  • iCloud sync for settings across devices (no separate account)
  • Apple TV user profile support (so multiple people in a household can keep settings and activity separate)

What I am looking for in testers

  • Ideally, people with at least two Apple devices (iPhone + iPad, iPhone + Mac, etc.)
  • Even better if you have iPhone + iPad + Mac, and especially if you also use Apple TV (tvOS coming very soon, it functionally works but needs UI polish)
  • Willing to use it and actually report if there are any bugs or quirks (or suggestions, though I've tried to add in everything I

What feedback helps most

  • UI polish suggestions (spacing, button placement, navigation quirks, anything confusing)
  • Any crashes, broken flows, or weird edge cases
  • Cross-device behavior (especially if you use multiple devices)

https://testflight.apple.com/join/H1ExQyq4

Also, I am not sure if posting a Discord link here is directly allowed, but the app includes a Discord link in the About section, and I have also added an extensive in-app FAQ that should answer most questions. If anything comes up, you can use Discord to reach out, ask questions, and share feedback. FYI, the macOS testflight version is one behind the iOS/iPadOS version, as I'm still waiting for Apple to review it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

I took a few apps shared on this subreddit and regenerated their App Store screenshots to better communicate what the apps do.

Good screenshot design can make a big difference in how users understand a product at first glance, so I wanted to try a few redesigns myself using an automated workflow to see what’s possible.

Below are the originals (“before”) next to my regenerated versions (“after”).

PWR Workout Tracker

Useful app, but screenshot layout is very basic.

Before

https://preview.redd.it/qtv57sq6x7cg1.png?width=2004&format=png&auto=webp&s=117e60e71f47735d27500dc24643ac641c604e4a

After

VoiceFlow: AI Voice Journal

Really liked this app actually, but app screenshots are outdated, a little boring and the theme colors dont match the app as well.

Before

https://preview.redd.it/fwsw91xcx7cg1.png?width=3216&format=png&auto=webp&s=56241744561cc8b5acdd27db10ec84e0c979cb47

Air Now : Qualité d’Air

Actually the design looks great already, but doesnt show what the app actually does.

Before

https://preview.redd.it/uyt3x2wdx7cg1.png?width=2578&format=png&auto=webp&s=034bb8e4286edc661677527e93677e805307cae2

Notice: Workspace for Clarity

Just three screenshots, which is not enough. Added illustrations and some more screens.

Before

https://preview.redd.it/1c5427pex7cg1.png?width=3282&format=png&auto=webp&s=d14ef58545250e4df3e228f483b4b2c621d34aa1

Smart Exercise Tracker

Improved theme color and text layouts

Before

https://preview.redd.it/4bze1fjfx7cg1.png?width=1996&format=png&auto=webp&s=13e67a38ce81b7f5ab44c4b9c6a235b3b9d6e75b

After

https://preview.redd.it/lpsfg73gx7cg1.png?width=2476&format=png&auto=webp&s=982e76f00944a9974d95cb263b7412dcbe4f582c

How I did it

I regenerated these screenshots entirely using AppLaunchFlow in a few minutes. The goal was to find out common mistakes people do when creating app store screenshots and find out how easy it is to actually improve/maintain them.

Let me know what you think :)

What’s missing from most recipe manager apps?

I’m working on a recipe manager app for people who cook at home a lot, and I’m trying to prioritize the right features instead of overloading it.

Currently it supports:

  • Importing recipes from websites
  • Saving recipes from images/photos
  • Organizing recipes by categories
  • Meal planning
  • Generating recipes from available ingredients

Before the next update, I want to focus entirely on user-requested features.

If you have feature ideas, please drop them in the Feature Request section inside the app so I can implement them quickly.

I built a small iOS app called Sure for moments when memory isn’t enough (locked the door, turned things off, packed essentials).

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sure-visual-photo-checklists/id6754885481

Instead of regular checklists, it uses photo checklists — you take a quick photo as confirmation and see them in a clean feed.

What’s in the latest update:

  • Redesigned feed focused on photo proofs
  • Time-based notifications
  • Photo protection with PIN and Face ID
  • Faster, simpler check flow

I’ve been building DoMind (my offline planner), and up until now, the notes were just plain text.

It bothered me. A journal needs Bold for emphasis and Colors for mood.

I just finished implementing a proper Rich Text editor (see screenshot on the store page soon, update is pending review).

If you are looking for a note-taking app that is:

  1. Offline (Private).
  2. Visual (Node trees for tasks).
  3. And (soon) supports Formatting.

Grab it now so you're ready when the update pushes through this weekend.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/projectcam-photo-folders/id6757171044

Hi, everyone!

I'm a solo iOS developer and wanted to share an app I've been working on.

ProjectCam is a project-based camera app that organizes photos into folders as you shoot.

I built this because I wanted:

- Photos sorted by project, not thrown into one giant library

- Work and personal photos completely separated

- A clean camera roll that doesn't get cluttered

- To find photos instantly without scrolling or searching

Most camera apps just dump everything into your Photos library. I wanted something that organizes from the start.

What ProjectCam does

  1. Project-based organization

Create a project for each topic (work, recipes, receipts, whatever). Pick a project, shoot, and photos get sorted automatically.

  1. Photos stay inside the app

Nothing saves to your iPhone's Photos library unless you want it to. Your camera roll stays clean.

  1. Import existing photos

Already have photos in your library? Import them into projects. You can even move them (delete from Photos library after import) to declutter your camera roll.

  1. Dead simple workflow

Pick a project → Hit the shutter → Done. No manual sorting later.

  1. Complete privacy

Everything stays in your App Sandbox. No cloud sync required.

Who it's for

- Real estate agents tracking property photos

- Construction workers documenting site progress

- Online sellers organizing product photos by item

- Anyone who wants work and personal photos separate

- People tired of endlessly scrolling to find photos

Hey r/iosapps! I'm excited to share Scaniva, a document scanner I built after getting frustrated that every scanner app wants $5-10/month just to scan a piece of paper.

Why I built this

I needed to scan receipts and documents regularly, but every app I tried either:

  • Required a monthly subscription
  • Forced cloud uploads (privacy concern)
  • Needed an account just to use it
  • Tired of ads and watermarks

So I built what I actually wanted.

What Scaniva does

  • 5 scan modes: Documents, IDs, business cards, receipts, QR codes
  • OCR in 12 languages: Extract and edit text from scans
  • PDF tools: Merge and compress documents
  • 100% offline: Works without internet, no account needed
  • Complete privacy: Everything stays on your device

Pricing

Free tier: 10 scans/month, 2 OCR languages, all features Premium: $9.99 one-time - unlimited everything, forever

No subscription. No recurring charges. No account signup. Ever.
