Hey everyone! I just launched my first iOS app and would love to get your feedback.
What it is: A geography quiz app focused on the United States - states, capitals, landmarks, and more.
Key Features:
I built this as a passion project to help people (including myself!) learn more about US geography in a fun way. It's free to download and I'm really looking for feedback.
What I'm looking for:
I'm actively developing and would love to implement community suggestions. Thanks for checking it out!

I’ve been working on Nond—a minimalist recipe manager and grocery planner. No ads, no social feeds, just a clean tool to help you get in and out of the grocery store.
The highlights:
Speed: Import any recipe from the web in one tap.
Organization: The grocery list sorts itself.
Inventory: A simple way to track what’s in your cupboards.
If you’re into minimalist UI and "single-purpose" tools, I’d love for you to give it a spin. I’m the solo dev, so I’m all ears for feature requests!

Ever wonder what triggers your urges to drink, smoke, overeat, doomscroll, or gamble? TriggerLink connects triggers to behaviors so you can break the cycle. When an urge hits, log what led to it: stress, boredom, or social situations, then discover your patterns and gain the insights you need to resist urges and make lasting changes.
UNDERSTAND YOUR TRIGGERS. CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIORS.
TriggerLink helps you break the cycle by connecting your behaviors to their triggers. TriggerLink reveals the cause-and-effect patterns behind your behaviors. Track what triggers your urges—stress, boredom, arguments—and see exactly how they connect to your actions. Understanding the "why" is the first step to lasting change.
HOW IT WORKS: SIMPLE CAUSE & EFFECT TRACKING
When an urge hits, log it in seconds:
- Effect (Behavior): What happened? (Drank alcohol, Overate, Smoked, Doomscrolled)
- Cause (Triggers): What led to it? (Stress, Argument, Boredom, Loneliness)
- Context: Add optional notes for deeper understanding
Then watch the patterns emerge.
SEE THE CONNECTIONS
- "Stress → Drinking: 8 times this month"
- "Argument → Overeating: 5 times this week"
- "Boredom → Doomscrolling: most common at 9pm"
These insights reveal your patterns, identify warning signs, and show exactly what drives your behaviors.
TRACK CAUSES (TRIGGERS)
- Emotional: Stress, Depression, Loneliness, Anxiety
- Social: Arguments, Conflicts, Social Situations
- Physical: Tired, Hungry, Pain
- Environmental: Work Problems, Saw Trigger
- Custom: Add your own unique triggers
TRACK EFFECTS (BEHAVIORS)
- Substance: Drinking, Smoking, Vaping
- Eating: Overeating, Binge Eating, Sugar Cravings
- Digital: Doomscrolling, Gaming, Procrastinating
- Emotional: Lost Temper, Self-Isolated, Overthinking
- Resistance: Track when you resist urges
- Custom: Create behaviors specific to your journey
DISCOVER YOUR PATTERNS
- Cause-effect links: See which triggers lead to which behaviors
- Frequency analysis: Identify your most common patterns
- Time patterns: When are you most vulnerable
- Trigger rankings: Know your highest-risk situations
- Visual insights: Charts that make patterns clear
- Filter by timeframe: 7 days, 30 days, year, all-time trends
SMART SUGGESTIONS
- Personalized behavior recommendations
- Discover behaviors you should track
- 50+ pre-made suggestions by category
- Insights that learn from your habits
FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
- Create custom behaviors with emojis and colors
- Add your own trigger categories
- Organize everything to fit your life
- Make it personal to your journey
PERFECT FOR
- Addiction recovery: Understand what triggers drinking, smoking, or substance use
- Emotional eating: See the connection between feelings and food
- Anxiety management: Track what triggers stress responses
- Breaking bad habits: Identify root causes of unwanted behaviors
- Therapy support: Share insights with your therapist or counselor
- Self-improvement: Build awareness through data-driven insights
- Sobriety tracking: Prevent relapse by knowing your triggers
- Mental Health: Use as a CBT-based log for anxiety, ADHD symptoms, or stress.
WHY CAUSE-EFFECT TRACKING WORKS
Understanding triggers is essential for behavior change. When you can see the cause (trigger) before the effect (behavior), you can:
- Interrupt automatic responses
- Avoid high-risk situations
- Develop coping strategies
- Build lasting awareness
- Make intentional choices instead of reactive ones
TriggerLink turns this into a simple daily practice.
YOUR PRIVACY
- iCloud sync
- All data stored securely on your device
- Completely private
Whether you're in addiction recovery, managing emotional eating, working with a therapist, or building self-awareness, TriggerLink gives you the clarity you need to understand your patterns and make lasting changes.

What I'm looking for:
Real feedback on what works, what's confusing, what could be better. UI/UX thoughts. Feature requests. Bugs if you find any. Basically anything that helps me improve it.

Anyway, would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks for reading.
Hey there 👋
I wanted to share an app my wife built called Ango Tasks ✅
App Store link:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ango-tasks/id6755641702
Quick background:
We’ve tried a lot of task and to-do apps over the years — Notion, Things, Todoist, reminders, etc. They’re powerful, but many feel either:
• too complex
• too “project-manager-y”
• or require too much setup before you can actually start using them
What she really wanted was something simple first, but smart when you need it.
So she built Ango Tasks with a very clear goal:
Open the app → add a task in seconds → get on with your day.
No heavy setup. No confusing flows. No learning curve.
What makes Ango Tasks different:
• 🤖 AI help when you want it
– turn messy thoughts into clear tasks
– break down big goals automatically
– rewrite or organize tasks
• ⚡ Fast & minimal UI – designed for daily use, not project management
• 🧠 Smart suggestions without being intrusive
• 📱 Built fully native for iOS
It’s great for:
• daily personal tasks
• family & household reminders
• content creators
• students
• anyone who just wants a clean, modern to-do app
The app currently has a free tier as well as a premium tier. And she’s actively improving it based on feedback.
If you try it, I’d genuinely love to hear:
• what feels good
• what’s confusing
• what features you’d want next
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
Happy to answer any questions too.
Finally recently released an update, that basically almost covers all my video editing need that Descript used to provide, but on IPhone.
I used to use Descript to remove filler in my videos, and remove certain sentences, and my app now does that pretty well.
Even if not a lot of people will download it, ill just keep using my own app nonetheless since i built it for myself first.
Weekly/Monthly/Yearly - 4/8/35$ (in Brazil should be about 50% off)

Hey there 👋
I recently built an app called Timestamp Camera 📷
Quick background: I’ve tried quite a few timestamp and GPS camera apps over the years, mostly for work and documentation. But almost all of them felt overly complicated and heavily work-oriented. You open the app and are asked to pick a profession, configure templates, or go through multiple steps before you can even take a photo ☹️
What I really wanted was something much simpler 💓
My goal was an app you can open and start shooting instantly. No setup, no categories, no friction. Just take a photo or video, with the time and location shown live on the screen.
So that’s what Timestamp Camera does:
It works well for documenting work when you need clear proof, but it’s also comfortable enough for everyday use like travel, daily records, or personal memories.
💰Price: free

I made this app for those who collect Christmas Village pieces, whether it’s Department 56, Lemax, or another manufacture this app keeps you organized and your collection fully inventoried.
I made this app after repeatedly buying my wife a new piece only to find out we already had it! Now we have our full inventory on our phone at all times. Can search, filter, sort, track your total investment, the estimated value etc.
If you know someone who collects Christmas Villages this app is a valuable tool.

My car and I have a bad relationship when it comes to maintenance schedules.
I tried paper, spreadsheets, notes none of it stuck, and I kept missing services.
So I built a small app to fix my own problem. You add your car, it reminds you to log mileage, tells you when maintenance is due (by time or mileage), sends notifications, and tracks maintenance costs.
The core app is free to use, with an optional in-app subscription for AI features like extracting maintenance info from receipts or logging maintenance via voice ($9.99/month or $39.99/year).
New: Log your whole day in one step
My goal is to make the simplest calorie deficit tracking app out there, and I'm really please to announce our latest feature "FastTrack". You can literally log your whole day in one step. Check out the demo video above :)

Hey everyone 👋
I’m an iOS developer and recently launched a side project called Air Posture.
The idea is simple:
You connect your AirPods, and the app uses their motion sensors to track your head angle while you’re working. Based on that, it gives you a posture score and gentle reminders when you start slouching.
I honestly expected this to stay a tiny niche app, but over the past weeks it organically reached ~900 downloads and I’m seeing surprisingly good engagement and occasional revenue — without any paid marketing.
👉 App Store link:

Sit Straight – AirPosture
Right now, the core features are free:
I’m considering introducing a Pro subscription (advanced insights, posture programs, smarter alerts, progress tracking), but I’m trying to be very careful not to lock the core functionality behind a paywall.
I’d love feedback from this community on:
This project kind of took off on its own, so I want to make sure I don’t ruin the user experience while figuring out monetization.
Happy to answer any technical questions as well.
Thanks! 🙏

Hi Reddit, Built this app because I tend to procrastinate until the last minute and watch an unhealthy amount of tv series. Basically the app keeps you accountable and consistent with the goals you've created.
Lmk what you think.
Some key features:
The website: Digital Carrot and the app
I kept forgetting small things at the store even when I had a list with me.
I didn’t want another app with alarms, schedules, or constant notifications. I wanted something calm that worked quietly in the background.
So I built Cueso.
In Cueso, you set up your stores and items once and it reminds you automatically when you are near your grocery store.
No clutter. No stress. Just one less thing to think about.
The app is free right now, and I’d genuinely love your honest feedback.

I’ve been building Unspiral, a small mental wellness app focused on breathing, calming sounds, and simple journaling for people who overthink or feel mentally overwhelmed.
Originally it had a subscription, but I decided to unlock lifetime access for free.
It includes:
This isn’t therapy or medical just a calm space when your thoughts start spiraling.
I’d genuinely love feedback from this community:
What feels useful? What feels unnecessary? What would you improve?

Hey r/iosapps,
I kept running into the same issue. I’d find a video I wanted to keep, plan to come back to it later, and then it was gone or buried somewhere. Feeds refresh, links disappear, and offline access is still awkward on iOS. So I built Float.
Float is a simple video hub. You paste a video link and the app saves it locally so you can watch it anytime, even offline. It also supports Picture in Picture, so the video can keep playing while you use other apps.
What I focused on
For launch, I’m offering 50 percent off using this App Store offer link:
https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6757985900&code=REDDIT50OFF
The goal is minimal friction. Paste a link once and the video is there whenever you want.
Happy to hear feedback, feature ideas, or answer technical questions.
Hi everyone,
I am an indie developer who built PeacePoint to solve a personal problem: the anxiety of "repetitive checking" (locks, stoves, appliances).
While the app uses a unique "Haptic Hold-to-Confirm" mechanic to help your brain register that a task is complete, I want to focus this post on how the app is built, because I believe mental health data requires absolute privacy.
100% PRIVACY & LOCAL STORAGE
In an era where every app wants to upload your data to the cloud for "analytics," PeacePoint takes the opposite approach:
- 100% Local: All journals, routines, and check-history are stored only on your device.
- No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or sign in.
- No Tracking: I do not collect user data. What you check is your business.
- Biometric Lock: You can lock the entire app behind FaceID/TouchID (Premium feature) so your history remains private even if someone else holds your phone.
NO SUBSCRIPTIONS (LIFETIME OWNERSHIP)
I am tired of "renting" software. PeacePoint is a one-time purchase.
- No Monthly Fees.
- No Recurring Charges.
- No "Pro" Trials that auto-renew.
PRICING BREAKDOWN
I use a transparent "Freemium" model with a "Pay What You Want" upgrade.
• Free Version ($0.00): Includes the "Morning Routine" (with unlimited tasks), full Journaling, and Breathing tools. This is free forever.
• Premium Upgrade (One-Time In-App Purchase): Unlocks Unlimited Routines and the Biometric App Lock.
To make the app accessible, I offer three price points for the Premium Upgrade. All three options unlock the exact same features for life;
you simply choose the one that supports development and fits your budget:
- Supporter Tier: $19.99 (One-time)
- Standard Tier: $7.99 (One-time)
- Reduced Tier: $3.99 (One-time)

If you value apps that stay offline and respect your wallet, I’d love for you to give it a try. Feedback is always welcome!
Hey everyone 👋 A friend of mine just released a minimal Pomodoro & productivity tracking app, and I thought it’s worth sharing here. What I liked most is that it’s not just a timer — it actually shows your day visually, so you can see where your time goes.
Main features:
⏱️ Pomodoro timer (Focus / Study / Work / Exercise)
📊 Daily timeline that visualizes how you spent your time
🗓️ Circular day view (focus, work, study, sleep, etc.)
🏆 Groups & leaderboards for motivation
✨ Very clean, distraction-free UI
If you’re into productivity apps and time tracking, it might be worth a look. I’d also love to hear what you think or what features you’d want added.

List Item - This is the heart of your bucket list — everything else supports helping you complete this item. A list item is the core task or goal you're trying to complete — like "Hike the Grand Canyon" or "Learn to surf."
Album - An Album is a photo collection tied to a list item, letting you visually document your journey. Your bucket list is about experiences — this plugin lets you relive them and share the story visually.
Budget - The Budget is a simple planner to estimate and track the cost of a list item. Break down expenses (like tickets, gear, lodging), set a budget, and track what you’ve spent. Helps make your goals more realistic and achievable by planning financially ahead of time.
Route Planner - The Route Planner is a tool to map out locations, stops, or directions for list items that involve travel or movement. Plan the route for a road trip, mark must-see spots, or log where you've been. For goals with a geographic element, it helps organize the journey and avoid missing anything.
Notes - Notes keep everything in one place, so you don’t lose ideas or important details while working toward your goal. It's a space to jot down thoughts, research, checklists, or reminders related to your list item. Write anything from planning steps, links, or even a journal entry. Great for tracking progress or lessons learned.
Checklist - Keep track of everything you need to do by creating simple, clear checklists. Check off items as you go to stay organized, focused, and on track — whether you're planning a trip, completing a project, or tackling daily tasks.
Weather - Check the forecast for your upcoming adventures, track weather conditions at your bucket list destinations, and get timely updates before you go. Use it to plan with confidence, pick the perfect days for outdoor goals, and stay prepared no matter where your journey takes you.

Hello! I'm an English engineer who hates office politics and being pushed to screw over users so I quit my job and I'm trying to make something worth-while.
Here's my first app: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/the-daily-dispatch/id6756933468
TLDR:
I'm working on a WWII "home front" app (not this one) with rationing and a wireless. While making it, I realised how much nicer news broadcasts were in the past (I had to listen to a LOT of WWII radio). Unemotional, just the facts, delivered in a limited time. I thought I could use my experience in prompt-engineering (yes, AI, I'm sorry, but I am actually trained in this area, and it isn't a wrapper!) to synthesise a daily paper, rather than infinite scrolling of minute-by-minute updates on click-bait stories.
I feel like we all see really depressing news all the time from around the world and I struggled to deal with it so I stopped reading the news entirely. I also hated that when I looked into stories, they often weren't as bad/crazy as described. Ground News is awesome, but still a lot of info and not greeeeat at UK focus.
It "prints" at 5 a.m. daily and doesn't update through-out the day. You get 12 stories, 2-3 UK specific, then a couple of global ones related to the UK, then a couple of science/tech ones that are positive, then one "deep-dive" and finally a quirky story. Every story has an "alternative take". This bit doesn't always apply, but I try to get something that gives an idea of the debate around the topic. It's clearly separated from the facts in its own box. I also cross-ref with the ONS (Office for National Statistics) to add in any numbers relevant to the story (I like numbers).
The AI function runs automatically on the backend at 5 a.m. each day and stores the resulting JSON in the database. The app pulls this down, and also archives past editions so you can read any you missed.
You can also save "clippings" so you can easily reference stories.
Anyway, I'm hoping that people think it's cool, but also might have good suggestions so I can improve! I would offer it free to anyone commenting, but it's not allowed, sorry :(
It's free for 1 week and then 99p/week.
(I don't post to Reddit often so sorry... for... everything 😅 I have a dev account but I had to delete/recreate it because I was getting errors, so now it's too new to post anything: u/Longjumping-Alps-783)
Hey everyone,
I loved playing Clue as I was growing up, and when I got into programming I figured there’s got to be an app I could build to replace the papers and gather even more data than was ever possible with the papers.
So I’ve finally built the Clue Calculator, a companion app that hopefully helps the user solve the mystery much faster than anyone using the papers.
Just a small passion project I’ve wanted for myself. It’s completely free, no app functionality is hidden behind a purchase.
There are additional themes (scary, mystery, and cool) that you can purchase for $1.99 but they are purely cosmetic and do not change the functionality of the app, only the look of the suspects, weapons, and rooms.
I figure the audience who play Clue regularly and also want to replace their papers with an app is probably pretty small, but still, I’d genuinely appreciate anyone who tries it out and gives me feedback on your experience.
For those interested, here’s the app:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/calculator-for-clue/id6755742317
Hi everyone,
I’ve always had trouble remembering gift ideas and personal details like sizes or preferences. Notes and reminders felt messy, and most gift apps I tried required accounts or cloud sync, which I wanted to avoid.
I built a small iOS app that focuses on two things: helping with gift ideas and keeping everything private.
Free download. No account required. No tracking. All your data stays on your device.
The app stores all data locally, so nothing leaves your device and there’s no analytics.
I’m mainly looking for feedback from iOS users on:
• UI/UX – Is it quick and intuitive for adding people and ideas?
• Gift suggestions – Do the recommendations feel useful or too generic?
If anyone’s curious, the App Store link is here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/giftmatch-gift-planner/id6757684160
Happy to answer any questions about the iOS implementation or design choices.
Hey everyone! 👋
Over the past few months, I’ve been working on something personal that I wanted to share with this community. I built a mental health companion app that’s different from typical meditation or journaling apps.
What makes it different:
The core of the app is Jovio, an AI companion who provides real emotional support through natural conversations. Think of it as having a friend who’s always there to listen when you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need someone to talk to.
Some of the features I’m most proud of:
∙ Conversational AI support - Share what’s on your mind and Jovio responds with thoughtful, empathetic messages (“I hear you…”)
∙ Daily mood check-ins - Quick emotional check-ins with a friendly, visual interface
∙ Journaling - Reflect on your thoughts and feelings with guided prompts
∙ Task management - Keep track of self-care tasks and goals
∙ Guided exercises - Role-playing scenarios, breathing exercises, and other coping tools
∙ Daily wellness tips - Little reminders and insights (like “It’s okay to feel multiple emotions at once”)
∙ Private & judgment-free - A safe space to express yourself
Why I built this:
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and not have someone to turn to in that moment. While therapy and professional support are invaluable (and nothing replaces that), sometimes you just need someone to listen at 2am or during a stressful moment at work. That’s the gap I wanted to fill.
Current status:
The app is finishing up development and will be launching on the App Store soon! If you’re interested in being among the first to try it out, you can join the early access list at www.jovio.app
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or questions. What features would you want to see in a mental health companion app?
Hi Reddit! 👋
A few months ago I was trying to build a daily journaling habit, but… it didn't stick.
Writing full sentences felt like a chore. So I asked myself:
**What if I could just rate my day in 10 seconds — and have a little fox as a friend on my screen?**
That's how my iPhone app was born.
---
🦊 It's called **DailyFox**:
- You rate your day from 1 to 10
- Choose a mood emoji
- Add a one-word summary

Hey everyone! 👋
I spent the last 3 years polishing my app "Fitep" – a workout app that focuses on personalization.
The Problem: Like many of you, I found that most workout apps either give you a cookie-cutter plan that doesn't fit your schedule, or they are just empty loggers where you have to do all the planning yourself. Personal coaches are great, but expensive.
The Solution: I wanted to build something in between. An app that actually "thinks" about your training variables.
Key Features:

I’d love to hear your feedback on the UI and the generation flow. Let me know if you have any feature requests!
Try it instantly on the web (no download needed): https://fitep.app/

Hi everyone👋,
My girlfriend started the 75 soft challenge so i decided to make her an app that matches her aesthetics.
So far, she likes it and uses it daily to track her progress.
The app can send you reminders, has checklists, you can capture photo updates (to keep track of your progress) and more.
If you like it you can give it a try. (+ if you really like it comment to get a 50% off lifetime deal)

Thank you in advance everyone!
Feedback is much appreciated:)
ok so this sounds morbid but hear me out
theres this stoic concept called memento mori where you visualize your entire life as a grid of weeks. 52 weeks per row, about 80 rows if youre lucky. you fill in what youve lived and see exactly how much you probably have left. first time i saw mine filled in i genuinely felt sick for a second. im 34 so like 1768 weeks gone, maybe 2000 remaining
i built an app around this because seeing it on paper wasnt enough, i wanted it on my phone where i could actually look at it. but the calendar alone felt incomplete so i added stoic journaling with morning intentions and evening reflections, plus an AI version of marcus aurelius you can actually talk to about problems
the ai thing sounds gimmicky but its weirdly helpful. you describe whats bothering you and it responds like marcus would, pulling from actual stoic texts. way better than just reading meditations and hoping you remember it when youre stressed
i use it most mornings now and its genuinely changed how i react to dumb stuff. someone cuts me off in traffic? dont care, limited weeks. anxious about something i cant control? marcus reminds me thats not how this works
anyway the app is called Daily Stoic: Stoicism if anyone wants to check it out. you could totally do the life calendar in excel or the journaling in notion, the app just packages it together with the ai stuff
pricing
free tier gets you the life calendar, daily stoic quotes, and limited journaling (10 entries, 3 ai messages)
premium is $1.99/month or $39.99/year if you want unlimited everything
anyone else do the life calendar thing or is this just me being weird about mortality?
tldr;
3 month ago, I embarked on a personal project to create a to-do app. I was tired of paying subscriptions for various apps like to-do, timer, and habit tracker apps. I wanted a single app that could handle all my tasks. So, I set out to build PrioSpace with a few key objectives in mind: it would be free forever, have no hidden paywalls, be open-source, and fully private.
Today, this project has surpassed 500 stars on GitHub. Consequently, I have developed a stable version and released it on the App Store, added support for the EU region, and incorporated features based on your comments.
I’m delighted to hear your feedback and suggestions. Your contributions on GitHub are greatly appreciated.
Try it out: https://prio.space/home

This is my first app, and I’m really excited to finally share it.
I spent the last three months building ChatPlus, pretty much giving it my days, nights, and weekends. The goal was simple: put powerful AI tools in one place, but keep the experience fast, practical, and actually useful day to day.
What ChatPlus does:
For pricing, there’s a 3-day free trial, then:
Since this is my first app, I’m genuinely open to honest feedback and suggestions:
Appreciate anyone who takes the time to try it or share thoughts — it really helps at this stage.

What's New?
Port Scan: Run port scans with custom port ranges and control scan speed based on your needs.
What users are saying (⭐4.6 Global - ⭐ 5.0 in US):
"I’ve been consistently impressed with how well this app performs! No jumping through digital, ad-infested hoops, no constant reminders to “try our other apps,” and no downtime to contend with. It does what it claims, and does it extremely well!"
"I've tried plenty of iOS-based network tools. Always looking for exactly what Pingers offers: comprehensive, lightweight, and easy-to-digest tools. I don't take the time to rate many apps, but this one deserved five stars."

I’m looking for iOS users willing to test a sobriety support app via TestFlight and share honest feedback.
The app focuses on staying alcohol-free through daily tracking, motivation, and accountability with short-form video posts from real users (“sober buddies”). It’s privacy-first by design — screenshots and screen recordings are blocked, and content can’t be downloaded.
I’m especially looking for feedback on:
• overall usability and flow
• whether the motivation and accountability feel helpful
• anything confusing, broken, or missing
If you’re open to testing, here’s the TestFlight link:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/4Gu3wVYq
Happy to test other apps as well — if you’re a developer and want reciprocal feedback, feel free to DM me your TestFlight link.
So, I got obsessed with AI image generation a while back and thought, 'Why not make something that actually gives me wallpapers I'd want to use?' Stock wallpapers are fine, but... they're everywhere. I wanted something that felt mine.
That's how Plash happened.
The gist: Type what you want, pick a style, and get a 4K wallpaper made for your exact screen size. No weird cropping, no horizontal images stretched to fit.
What's under the hood:
I went for a super minimal UI - one screen, no tabs everywhere, just glass-style cards floating over your wallpaper. Wanted it to feel like... the wallpapers themselves? If that makes sense.
Anyway, would love to know what you think. What styles would you want to see? I'm thinking about adding more niche ones (vaporwave? studio ghibli-ish? cottagecore?).
Under the hood, it’s doing a lot 🛠️ AI-enhanced prompts, style magic, and 4K upscaling, all focused on one thing: wallpapers you’ll actually want to use 💚
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/plash-ai-wallpaper-creator/id6757379100
Full transparency: this is a promo 🚀💚 but it's also the thing I've been obsessing over for months.
I’m in the process of developing a utility app that I can’t decide on a clear monetization strategy. Definitely not subscription worthy, and a one time purchase doesn’t seem to be right yet.
I’d love to offer the utility app for free however I have heard in the past of using IAP for a “tip jar” of sorts. Basically a Apple version of “buy me a coffee”
Has anyone been successful in doing this?
Hi r/iosapps
I randomly came across a YouTube video(Link) and noticed a comment asking for a specific app that does the same flashing words one by one. The comment had ~3k likes, so I decided to try building it.
This is my first iOS app and my first time using Swift. It itself was easier to pick up than I expected, and I was able to build an MVP fairly quickly.
The app converts and pdf/article/text to rsvp format so that you can read it at a very high speed.
App link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/motionread/id6757697730
Website link: https://www.motionread.space/
Price: Free to download (Subscription is $3.99 per month/$ 19.99 per year/ $34.99 lifetime)
Attached a video showcasing the functionality: YT
Any feedback is highly appreciated
Hey everyone!
I’m excited to share an app I’ve been working on — Countdown – Event Timer (currently live on the App Store for iPhone & iPad)!
👉 App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/countdown-event-timer/id6757182749
I tried using alarms and calendar apps for years, but they always felt… mentally tiring.
Alarms are binary.
They’re either off, or suddenly demanding your attention.
You don’t see time passing — you just get interrupted. That creates stress, not clarity.
Calendars are date-centric.
They’re great for scheduling, but for long-term events, your brain has to keep doing the math:
>“How many days are left?”
“Is that soon or still far away?”
That small mental calculation doesn’t seem like much, but it adds up.
A Countdown flips the model.
Instead of asking your brain to remember or calculate, it simply shows you the answer.
It turns time from something abstract into something visible and calm.
That’s the feeling I wanted when I built this app —
less stress, fewer reminders, and a clearer sense of what actually matters.
>Alarms interrupt you. Calendars make you calculate.
Countdowns let your brain rest.
So I built Countdown – Event Timer with a few core principles in mind:
1. Unlimited Events
Create as many countdowns as you want — from big life milestones to little reminders.
2. Widgets Everywhere
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets (multiple styles) let you track countdowns without opening the app.
3. Calendar Integration
Import events from your system calendar and and export countdowns back — sync your life effortlessly.
4. Contacts Birthday Import
Automatically pull birthdays from your device’s Contacts and turn them into countdowns — never forget another important day with friends or family.
5. iCloud Sync Across Devices
Keep your countdowns in perfect sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Uninstall/reinstall? No problem — your data comes back.
6. Family Sharing Support
Share premium features with up to 5 family members so everyone can track important events together.
7. Custom Tags & Icons
Select from 200+ emojis and tag your events (Birthday, Travel, Work, Holiday, etc.) to keep things organized.
8. Precise Real-Time Countdown
See time down to years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
9. Smart Repeat Options
Set daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly repeating events (perfect for anniversaries & recurring reminders).
10. Thoughtful Reminders
Remind yourself 1 day before, 1 week before, or when the event hits.
11. Privacy-First (Local Only)
All your events are stored locally on your device — no tracking, no accounts required.
✔ Counting down to birthdays & anniversaries
✔ Tracking vacations & holidays
✔ Never missing deadlines again
✔ Fitness goals or study plans
✔ Travel departures & returns
✔ Big life events — weddings, graduation, exams… you name it 🚀
If you give it a try, I’d love to hear what features you think are missing or what you’d like improved! Feedback helps shape the next updates 😊
Cheers,
— a fellow countdown lover ⏱️
Hi everyone!
I built Stoivyn because I was feeling overwhelmed and reactive even when it is not necessary. Most productivity apps just help you check boxes, but I needed something that actually builds character through Stoicism.
Why I built it:
Stoicism teaches we can't control external events, only our responses. I wanted an app that structures your day around the four cardinal virtues (Wisdom, Courage, Justice, Temperance) rather than just tasks.
Key Features:
• Daily Rituals - Customizable practices organized by virtue
• Reflections - Guided journaling and deep self-examination prompts
• Breathing Exercises - Quick reset when things get overwhelming
• Progress Tracking - Visual journey with streaks and virtue development
• Friends - Share rituals for accountability
• Personalized Assessment - Identifies which virtues need attention
Found a limited-time deal worth sharing 👀 — the Stoivyn – Stoic Habit app is currently free for lifetime (normally $29.99/year).
Stoivyn is a habit + reflection app inspired by Stoic philosophy, focusing less on ticking off tasks and more on building character through the four virtues: Wisdom, Courage, Justice, and Temperance.
What it offers:
If you’re into mindfulness, philosophy, or structured self-improvement, this might be interesting to explore.

Whats up guys! Made a minimal game with a very crude UI to hone your trading skills. Idea is to recocnize typical chart patterns and trade them for profit. Game is a 60 second sprint to make as much bank as you can.
Added a game center leaderboard to flex your legendary runs. To see the charts better I advise zooming out a bit on the chart. Everyone loves to watch those 1 minute crypto charts, right?
For you absolute degenerates I added leverage up to 50x but please stay safe, using this can get ugly very fast.
My record so far is about 2000% profit but I'm a horrible trader.
All the common trading forms appear in the game, you can see them here for example. The quicker you see a pattern forming the better chances for a successful trade.
I'd appreciate if someone tested this, you can leave feedback here or in review form in app store. Made this only for iOS, if there is demand android port shouldnt be too hard.
iOS:
Stonks: Buy High Sell Low
Git repo is public if someone is interested in the tech, its made with expo. Its 99% made with claude opus 4.5 so not really my code.
Thank you for your time! Stay safe out there, please dont touch 50x leverage!
